Hey not many players can retire having won so many individual awards and absolutely fuck all that counts, his grandkids will enjoy the stories of quarter finals and challenging for a top 7 place to qualify for the conference league no end.
 
Meh, I was one of the No voters on the poll anyway… His loss in the long run, we’ll get a forward who bangs them in at some point while he continues to wipe the dust off his mantle rather than his trophies.
 
I must admit I'm a tad confused. It reads like Kane was the one to end this, not the clubs. Is that right?

Spurs weren’t in it to end it. I’d say city rang Kane and said we are out you do what you have to do to build bridges. Thanks good look in your future
 
Some guy posted on here a day or two ago about a physio contact at the club saying Harry had a dodgy knee. It is well known that when your ankle ligaments get torn they are never quite the same again. This then impacts the knee, the hip, which become arthritic. I really would not be surprised if this is the truth of what happened today. A failed medical kept quiet due to patient confidentiality.Something very fishy for Harry to come out with these comments today.
 
£120mil incl add ons was always my own ceiling as to what I thought was an exorbitant price to pay for Kane.

I don’t personally think we offered any more than that and if Levy wanted £150mil minimum then fuck him.

Just makes me laugh the media narrative when even Kane thought he’d be allowed to leave due to the gentleman’s agreement for £100mil, which is what obviously got us interested.

Nonsense. No way it got to that point without someone getting wind of it.
 
The main problem for me with missing out on Kane is who the hell is taking our penalties now?

cant go another season with a 50/50 chance of scoring

It is disappointing that no striker may come in. Hopefully, Guardiola will use the winger game much more. Otherwise, it will have to be crossing the ball at the heads of the attacking midfielders in the squad.

Who knows? with that sort of fee involved, you'd expect no stone to be unturned. Some medicals have been pushed through by turning a "blind eye" to some things. This one wouldn't come into that category, so could be feasible.
