Not sure City would Brief this and then take another massive L. Very curious. I could picture us losing the Kane battle but flirting with Ronaldo and going into the season with no striker would be devastating after this PR debacle.

Makes sense for a year
1 We need a forward
2 He wants a last chance at champions league
He is not a pep player though, can’t imagine pep wanting him
But if it boils the rags piss I can warm to the ideA
Unless we have another ace up our sleeve (cannot see that)

Di Marzio says we have offered him a two year contract and now its up to Ronaldo to decide? I know some dont rate Di Marzio but on Italian clubs hes shit hot and it seems we have offered Ronaldo around Kev`s wages and basically said you want to come for sporting reasons then great but we arent getting the money you are on now.

It's good for his PR though. He is not coming for money but a new challenge.

if he doesn't come to City, then i'd love to see that happen. could end up in either some of the best football ever seen or a debacle of unprecedented hilarity. both options are great.

No way this is about money. He could have stayed or gone for an easier option, but to want to come back to the premier league that’s about last ambitions.

We should have won that Spurs game in the first 20 minutes. That’s when a top striker would have come in handy.
