Ref Watch

I have literally just watched the evans challenge on aubameyang on motd and have come on here to post the same . Identical challenges which evans received just a yellow for and not one complaint that it should of been a red .
that **** of a ref couldn’t wait to pull the red card out for laporte we are refereed different

don’t even get me started with the constant time wasting from the keeper 20 mins in and the referee allows it was obvious for everyone that he wasn’t getting carded until the last few mins if at all

I would also like a better look at that offside with foden

yep
the rules change when manchester city are playing ? also there was a 2 footed off the floor tackle on ruben dias that was not even talked or look at by VAR ? you know what i really think the city players knew what was happening right from the start and lost control. you see it with jesus the most he starts waving his arms and starts giving the ref the mouth and shouting at him

first time pep has come out and pointed out 2 or 3 things with the officials and rightly called the offside when saying last week brighton goals was allowed to stand why clearly offside and jonny even yellow for the same thing as laporte.. if you look at the bigger picture the ref knows it kills the game and city also have a big player missing for 3 games knowing the derby is up next

they hate us with a passion and i would bet its going to get a lot worst next week with the derby ? they will not let another drubbing happen to united at home when city are in town

its a nailed on free for all for united and they will get everything and city players losing it pep sent to the stand it could be a nightmare

so to sum up, Jonny Evans is subject to different laws than the rest.

and forearm smashes aren't red cards but an attacker diving when clean through is.

Right. It should be 10 men but for the other player.

Referees must be part of a independant body if we are to have consistency and neutrality.
Correct, it’s a bit like MPs and ministers on the boards of companies when as public servants they have a direct influence on decisions that impact their bottom line. Aka corruption.

Hey mate

That one you mentioned away at Brighton when they got a penalty and scored .. just seconds earlier in the build he was clear as day offside in the same passage of play.. like literally a yard offside and It’s forgot about and no ones arsed as we won 4-1 but that is blatant cheating why did they not look at it and scrutinise it … it’s absolute bollocks I’d bet my house if that was us it would be brought back for offside !

Individual refereeing errors I can put up with. A bit of time wasting at the end to preserve a lead I can also put up with. Tactical and systematic time wasting from minute 1 coupled with refereeing indifference I can’t. It’s supposed to be entertainment, if refs don’t get a grip on this it’s only going one way.

Well said. They get lots of money from the PL, yet continue to operate as an unregulated monopoly. And nobody bats an eyelid. They are a law unto themselves. The PL allows Riley complete control, and in return for this lack of scrutiny or accountability, he does their bidding. It's a cosy relationship that needs investigating and bringing under control.

I have couple of issues with the offside decision by VAR, firstly I'm struggling to see what part of Foden's anatomy lines up with the red line, there seems to me to be a gap netween a perpendicular from Foden's knee and the line. Surely the goal side of the line should be level with Foden's knee. Equally if you take a perpendicular from the outside of the Palace player's shoulder it looks to be ahead of the blue line. It is still probably just offside but as others have said this frame is just after the ball has been kicked. The camera angle doesn't allow you to see when the ball is first touched. From the camera used to broadcast the game I'd say the ball is maybe a few inches away from the foot.Screenshot at 2021-10-31 15-32-04.png
If we look at the previous frame where the foot is probably still in contact with the ball Foden's knee is not so far advanced and I'd say he is level at worst. Law 11 states that the first point of contact with the ball should be used and that doesn't seem to be the case here. Certainly within the margin of errors for the technology.Screenshot at 2021-10-31 17-37-22.png

YEP pep called it in the after match interview yesterday the brighton goal was offside but they did nothing.
the amount of cheating by the officials is getting worst every week ? i fear for the derby at the weekend because united need a result and a big result so you know its coming

also its the international break again so all the media will be about united and how good they are and back in title race after a great win vs man city

you can read it like a book what happens ? the whole let are in it from the officials to the media/tv
its all controlled to suit the scum when their hour of need is needed to stop the loons in green and gold from rioting

the biggest issue i have with VAR is the replays and angles and the line of sight
clearly that replay is not inline and it can look different to being level with play

the issue of big or small comes to mind and its a trick of the eye when you look at a picture at a different angle
the VAR team know all about this and can use a picture to make it look like whatever they want

also the red and blue lines is a trick and does anybody really believe the thickness when its zoom out
the game and officials are bent and with the mount of money involved makes the mafia look small fry
