Considering the lads attitude he definitely made the right choice for his career. Demanding first team game time for one of the best teams in the world at 17 there's no way he would have accepted the slow integration into the first team that Foden did.To say Sancho made a bad decision in leaving us is a bit blue-tinted IMO. Would he have won more if he stayed? Definitely. Would he have played as much? Probably not.
It's fine to admit that a player left us and excelled. Even when he's ended up at the rags.
I think there is a backlash against him from City fans partly because of the press comparison between him and Foden in the early days of his Dortmund career. Having turned his back on City and now a utd player there's no way City fans are going to accept his decisions.
Watching him now I'd say he looks a decent player. He wouldn't be in our first team even now but utd do seem to have a knack of making players look shit.
