James McAtee | On loan at Sheffield United

To say Sancho made a bad decision in leaving us is a bit blue-tinted IMO. Would he have won more if he stayed? Definitely. Would he have played as much? Probably not.

It's fine to admit that a player left us and excelled. Even when he's ended up at the rags.
Considering the lads attitude he definitely made the right choice for his career. Demanding first team game time for one of the best teams in the world at 17 there's no way he would have accepted the slow integration into the first team that Foden did.
I think there is a backlash against him from City fans partly because of the press comparison between him and Foden in the early days of his Dortmund career. Having turned his back on City and now a utd player there's no way City fans are going to accept his decisions.
Watching him now I'd say he looks a decent player. He wouldn't be in our first team even now but utd do seem to have a knack of making players look shit.

He excelled in the German league tbf. If he eventually excels in the Premier league then fair play. Right now he looks lost on the pitch.
He also comes across as a bit of a **** who's ego has him believing he's better than he is so Ironically utd is the perfect club for him..

In what way does Sancho come across as a ****?

Sancho will find his feet in the PL and do well. But he's gone and this is the McAtee thread.

If we can retain McAtee, while continuing the development of him, Foden and Palmer, we'll have excellent base of top level English youngsters to build around. C. Doyle, Delap, THB, could also join them with a bit of luck.

The future is blue. These guys are the blueprint.

Im not a big fan of footballers who spend their time trying to establish themselves as a brand over actually playing football.
Maybe that's because I'm a bit old for all that shit.
Mainly though because it's well known amongst the football World that he has an over inflated sense of entitlement and has since he was at City.
Playing for utd is just the cherry on top but that's neither here nor there.

Is it fuck blue tinted anything to say Foden’s career is a damn sight better than Sanchos to this point.

When we see Pep new signings struggling , most will say they need one season to adapt.

So why is this excuse only valid for our new players ?

The videos aren't what we would want from our players. Anyway, back to McAtee, he is a talent and I hope he has now signed his contract because he clearly has a future if he is, as Pep said, patient and determined to show that when he gets a chance, he will grab it with both hands. We are at the very top of the world game and he is competing with Bernardo, Gundogan, Foden, KDB for the position that he would want; that is a different kettle of fish to the teams that other young players want to break into.

What I hope, is that we allow these young talents the opportunity to shine while gradually phasing them into a squad that will soon have Mahrez, Gundogan, KDB, and Fernandinho naturally reaching the end of their careers with us and others, like Raz, wanting to move on. Being able to replace those players with local players, at that level, would be an absolute dream and time will tell if Foden, McAtee, Palmer, Doyle, Mbete, and others are the rightful heirs.

Because we don't tend to sign cunts.

Mendy being an obvious recent exception.

The first video is almost 2 years old. Says a lot more about you than it does him if you think a 19 year old messing around in his car makes him a ****. Do you think Foden is also **** for trying to sneak girls into his hotel room during a worldwide pandemic?
