All l know about the Guardian is garnered from your frequent comments from it exhorting fans not to read it. I don't have any satellite TV nor do l read newspapers. I love Blue Moon because City fans tell us all on here what the world is saying about us.
On the 10 o clock news and the NW news after the match, they treated City and Liverpool differently for the same thing. I mentioned it, only a small thing but another for the list and asked if it was bias or incompetence. To me it could be either but probably both.
For my troubles l got a couple of smart arsed snide comments, implying l was not being truthful. Even though l am aware of the way people act on the internet it does piss me off a bit.

That cheers me up no end. I would not wish to be anything close to that pompous prick nor his fellow middle class pals from the posh suburbs who like to kiss his boots whilst appearing to lace them.
I can just about tolerate supporting the same team.

The Milan game was a great atmosphere, the stated attendance of 38K being something of a Peter Swales special, and with a bit more luck we could have had five or six that night. (To be fair, I think Milan did hit the post and I seem to remember them missing a sitter as well - they were battling like fuck in the second half just to avoid humiliation). It was the last hurrah for Tony Book's team, really, as a few weeks later Mal came back and fucked most of them off at the earliest opportunity.

The 5-1 Schalke match was truly magnificent, one of my favourite games.

The world's managers only become great once they have signed a Rag contract, same with players! This is why Pep'll never be any good!

They had a relatively poor season in the Bundesliga that year, but Moenchengladbach were a very good side - German champions the previous two years, IIRC, in which they also reached the European Cup final and semi-final. They went on to win the UEFA Cup after knocking us out, as well.

Malcolm actually asked Nicky Reid on his debut to mark Simonsen. One of those crazy decisions Mal sometimes used to take - later, I started to wonder if he did stuff like that specifically so he could be hailed as a visionary if it worked out.

Strange isn't it - Moyes was the chosen one, then LVG and Jose - supposedly the top guys around at the time. All faiures, or more importantly, failed by the club despite their expertise. Now they've got the ideal man for their merchandising - "Ralph" brand. (See what I did there?)
What can possibly go wrong? Funny how his CV's past all of us by for years and years, and he's stuck at Lokomotive Shite. Plenty for the media to build up before dismantling him in about 6 weeks time.

Absolutely my favourite game TC. Eleven years old, just started going with mates rather than Dad, sat at the back of the Platt lane watching Colin Bell. Still remember Tommy Booth's goal line clearance to this day ... a thing of beauty!
 
Feel very disappointed to miss out on this mornings cuntfest.
I’d just like to throw my hat in the ring at this late stage as a fully fledged member of the **** brigade.
