The guy's an idiot. Unfortunately no amount of training will stop him being an idiot, but the plus side is he's a great fucking player who most of the time is a major asset. But every now and then, being an idiot will cost him.

He’s been excellent for us and a really good signing as his medals show. Was foolish tonight but I find it irritating he was playing. I would have thought he would have been rested. Doesn’t excuse his daft antics tonight.

I agree he should have been rested for tonight, though.

Fatigue isn't only physical, and the more knackered you are, the more likely you are to do something completely insane.
 
Seen this before with us, the team were feeling like the ref wasn’t going to give us anything, and in the end the frustration boils over. Walker should have had more control but ultimately that bent ref was the cause of that red

Lets deal in facts and not your fiction , Walker is the regular England right back and has been for 18 months , Trent and Reece James are not and will not be at the next years World Cup , your post is nothing short of idiotic , the problem is everyone with an arse hole has an opinion. The two arseholes i trust are Pep & Southgate more than your diarrhea ridden attempt.

Right now? Yes.
He can't cross like either so he won't have as flashy youtube highlights compilation but Walker's defending is miles better than both, which is why Walker is one of three key defensive players for the PL champions at any one time, and why James and TAA are protected by a back 3 behind them and a trio of defensive midfielders in front of them, respectively. James will be Walker's heir to the England team I am sure, while TAA will have to settle for being a squad player or moving positionally IMO.

Walker's defending is, obviously, aided by his pace but until his pace deserts him we have to talk about Walker the god damn speed demon. And that Kyle Walker is England's best defender.

btw I agree what he did today was absolutely stupid, and I wouldn't be against dropping him as punishment.

But the idea he's now terrible and only has pace is reactionary, revisionist nonsense.
