We should play behind closed doors and reduce the teams to one a side, dressed in a hazchem suit of course with no player allowed out of their own box which is a designated bubble.

I think Sturgeon and Swinney's tone and wording used in recent briefings are setting us up for that - absolutely pathetic.

The virus mutates and from what we've witnessed over the last 18 months it will be a regular occurance that an unexpected mutation with more transmissibility or immune evasion will take place. We have to find a way to deal with that and support the NHS beyond fucking restrictions. In short, I love our NHS but we as the public shouldn't be living our lives indefinitely with restrictions or worry that it isn't being overwhelmed, those in charge need to stop putting that kind of pressure on us and sort it themselves.

The Government is now pushing the jab onto children, understandable if i were in charge of a failing drug i would want as many people with a better immunity to take my drug so i could boost the figures. The head of the NHS announce COVID hospitalized figures that were nearly 10x the actual numbers their secretary realized the lie and claimed it was a different time period this was only 6x the number, amazingly both who are paid for figures are still in a job., the Guardian ran with a story of a health worker resenting working on non jabbed patients with COVID, so lets look at the people they resent which was 60% around 6700. A those too ill to have the jab, B those who caught COVID in hospital C those in hospital for other reasons D those in hospital for COVID, those with the jab would also have B,C, and D quite clearly this health worker needs to find another job, but it does raise the question of overburdening the NHS a question that has been irrelevant since the closing of the Nightingale hospitals, but one of these professors with access to the flow charts put the figure at 1% and unlikely to rise with the new mild version, a government advisor said yesterday on BBC radio that up to 70,000 could die from COVID in the next 5 month, a lie and scare mongering, but up to 70,000 could die with COVID after all more than 70,000 will die and the chance of them having the new version as well is quite high which tells you just how much this advisor rates the efficiency of the jab, last week one of the drug company announced that COVID will be with us for years and with their employees at the WHO using the system of counting that they do ensures the the goose that lays the golden egg will be laying those trillion dollar eggs for a long time.

nope i read the report twice, i quoted sections of it to you remember? I just put the telegraph up to show you that others had noted the flaws aswel.

This is sadly where we part fella, and you go on ignore as your taking up too much of my time with your pitiful reasoning. Real shame as your clearly someone with knowledge in this field, but also with some character flaws. Good luck.

Surely, if the first sentence is true, all the double jabbed should be banned from everything as well as the non-vaccinated and only ‘booster holders’ should be allowed out?

Contradictory and confusing messaging has though has been the only consistent feature throughout the pandemic response, to be fair.
It can only be deliberate and undoubtedly comes from the behavioural psychologists, with the effect of undermining certainty and keeping people terrified. This is the government doing this to us and I can’t believe how many people are just not bothered.

Absolutely. Instead of talking about a tidal wave of infections, or at least in addition to that, why not mention that the likelihood is that 2 doses are extremely important and should protect most of us from severe disease or death. The third dose, or booster, reinforces that protection and provides the extra addition of prevention of infection to a much higher degree.

That's it. Clarifies that two doses are really important and not useless whilst putting forward a clear message of why the third is still required.
 
For the record Omicron will explode across the nation in the coming weeks.
The UK infection data is now there to show this is correct.
The issue is how many will be hospitalised and die?
The models say the mid point is 1/2 that of Delta which would be disastrous.
The data from SA indicates Omicron is considerably less than this.
Let's up the models are wrong.
 
Covid passports are a waste of time.
Just one infected person will cause a super spreader event as the Steps concert in Glasgow proved.
Events need to be cancelled if the SAGE models are remotely correct.
If the SA data is replicated in the UK then we just need to continue with plan A.

The head of the South African Medical Association refreshed her claims that the Omicron variant is 'mild' having spent one month treating patients with it.

Dr Angelique Coetzee spoke to Tom Swarbrick a fortnight after her initial appearance on LBC where she told him that the West was overreacting to Omicron.

She echoed her initial claims that Omicron is a relatively "mild" variant of coronavirus, which sees greater transmission yet lower rates of hospitalisation.

"This is now our fourth week, there's no reason you can't trust us when we say to you 'it's mild disease!'" Dr Coetzee insisted.
She said that whilst she understands the precautions the UK is taking, "there's really no need" to reenter lockdown over the Omicron variant.

"Yes, you can have a million cases, you can have even more than that, but the severity of the disease is mild", she said again.

I’m guessing ( pure hunch on my part ) that omicron is spreading via aerosol air-born quite freely now, with how transmissible it’s become I can’t see any other way.

I’m in the process of suing Lemsip for not curing my cold.

I‘ve had three now and I still have symptoms.
