The JCVI advised that severely immunocompromised people should be eligible for boosters three months after their primary course. That’s the vulnerable, not everyone and not for the rest of our lives, it’s because there’s a new variant.government has switched it to 3 and you know it. Why if it lasts for at least 6 because you wouldn't need it.
You do realise that just because YOU don’t understand the evolution of a virus and how/why it can evade some of the T-cells the vaccines produce, doesn’t mean that the rest of us are so badly informed and that we are simply “conditioned”.Well the last one lasted that long, so why will the same thing be any different this time? And when they've conditioned that to be the new normal, why would they change it?

He’s never wrong. It’s impossible to change his mind on anything. You do realise that just because YOU don’t understand the evolution of a virus and how/why it can evade some of the T-cells the vaccines produce, doesn’t mean that the rest of us are so badly informed and that we are simply “conditioned”.
You’ve shown an utter lack of understanding about vaccines in general and covid in particular over the last 15 or so pages and had a couple of eloquent posters patiently explain things to you. As you fail to comprehend their posts and plough on in your moron furrow I can only assume you’re now trolling.
I've been offered one as has pretty much everyone in my age group, we were jabbed mid to late august, so whatever they've advised they're trying to jab everyone this early. The JCVI advised that severely immunocompromised people should be eligible for boosters three months after their primary course. Not my problem if you don't get them, others have. Hence I can have a reasoned conversation with Melton about it.You do realise that just because YOU don’t understand the evolution of a virus and how/why it can evade some of the T-cells the vaccines produce, doesn’t mean that the rest of us are so badly informed and that we are simply “conditioned”.

which is why I'm happy the elderly, and those most likely to be hospitalised, have had their boosters, particularly when AZ appears to be ineffective and that's what they were jabbed with.Because when an outbreak is as transmissible as Omicron is, even a 5% efficacy gain can have a significant knock on impact, particularly given it doesn’t give the full efficacy it did against delta.
Immunity isn't quite as specific as you are probably imagining it to be. When you get a vaccine, your body makes a bunch of antibodies that respond to the antigen (in this case, the spike protein). These antibodies come in a large variety of forms that are all a bit different from each other. What they share is that they stick to the spike protein, but they stick to different parts of it and they have different levels of "stickiness". Shortly after vaccination, your antibody levels get very high. Then they naturally decrease over time… This is a normal process and not just a thing related to covid vaccines. However, the cells that make the antibodies stick around, and if you get a booster they are activated again and start dividing and pumping out more antibodies. A sort of refining process also goes on after boosters, where antibodies that stick better to the spike protein get selected for, so the quality of antibodies goes up after another vaccine dose.government has switched it to 3 and you know it. Why if it lasts for at least 6 because you wouldn't need it.
Two in just over a year.... what happens when some cunts follow him up and we have a mini Jan 6th here?
I despise my local Tory MP not only coz he is a Tory he has form on other subjects - I also drive past his office almost every day. Its well sign posted - he is seldom there but seeing the people who leave at the end of the day the work seems to be done by interns, chinless wonders and mums acting as secretaries. I want them out but I don't want to assault the office and burn them out -this is real life not a fucking Hammer House of Horror Frankenstein movie with torch bearing mobs bearing down on them. The ballot box is there for a reason. He does need locking up for incitement end of.
Sorry but no. The virus is the “enemy” here. An enemy we have no control over how it will react.not really. The counterparty is the government and always will be. The virus is just the variable.

Look at the people liking your posts, it’s not exactly the forum intelligentsia is it.Not my problem if you don't get them, others have. Hence I can have a reasoned conversation with Melton about it.
The only thread I get more likes in is when I criticise mad Max, so clearly it's not an unpopular view. People just don't want to stick their head up above the parapet to be shot at by people riddled with self-doubt and anxiety about their life choices.
your usual modesty, I see. Missing the mark like Lewis is missing a title.Look at the people liking your posts, it’s not exactly the forum intelligentsia is it.
Also it’s not that I don’t “get” your posts, it’s that I understand the topic and thus know you’re chatting shit.
no, not really. We evacuated all the towns and the government said we had the measures in place to return safely.Sorry but no. The virus is the “enemy” here. An enemy we have no control over how it will react.
an equivalent would be a forest fire. Everyone puts all there efforts into stopping it reach a town but the wind changes and it heads to another town, should we not bother to try to save the other town? Did they lie when the firefighters could win and save the original town?
we don't. We don't go back in life, only forward. Pre-2020 will never exist again.Well I suppose my question is how do we get back to pre 2020 normal?
I’ve taken the time to explain, you’ve failed to read or comprehend. Off on ignore you go, there’s no point wasting any more time on you.your usual modesty, I see. Missing the mark like Lewis is missing a title.
Have you run out of crayons to explain with?I’ve taken the time to explain, you’ve failed to read or comprehend. Off on ignore you go, there’s no point wasting any more time on you.
