Hospital data continues to be good news which is a relief to see.

79 admissions in all England today and is now heading for 3 weeks in the 70s/80s/90s.

England patients down 62 today - more than the 56 fall a week ago. Ventilators down 4 too.

And the North West fell in patient numbers again by six to just 152.

So no sign yet after more than a week of rising numbers that the Bolton cases are creating more very sick people needing hospital treatment - as the NW hospital numbers are behaving exactly like all the other regions not showing any impact of the big uptick in cases. As the age of those catching it will likely continue to infer unles cases really spiral out of control.

We would have to see that before anything like triple figure deaths are on the horizon.

It's over five weeks to go. As Govt have stated, they do not know yet. They will, quite rightly, monitor what happens with the data. It's better to be safe than sorry. The last thing we ant is another bloody lockdown.

Lifting restriction on 17 May will make a big difference to a lot of peoples lives. Thus, if the removal of social distancing restrictions on 21 June is pushed back a short period, it will be easier to deal with for many. Not all, of course. If it meant

It has been highest rates for days. Yet again the media report last weeks news. This is why they missed the problem at the start for days before they should have done. Waiting for final five day old data already established by the daily data.

Agreed. But most deaths certainly weren’t were they? Hence my comment regarding ‘triple digit deaths’. And by end June many more under 50’s will be jabbed won’t they too? Not suggesting we shouldn’t be careful but fucking fed up of hearing statements as mentioned (not you I know). The path to normality was vaccines. We are nearly there, we have to get back to normality for the sake of everyones sanity as soon as safely possible.
