BT Sport commentary v Arsenal (A)

Look, apologies of i came across angry in my previous posts! I’ve been pissed off with the way we have been portrayed by BT sports today.
You have to remember that every other football fan around the country watch it and listen to the shite that they pumped out today - i love our club and like family, do not want people slagging us off or being disrespective (especially when i pay for it)
We are all blues and we are all passionate, we should stick together and shouldn’t argue! But today took the piss and i am sorry if i upset anyone
Mcfc okay

Don't apologise for not being an android mate. You care.

You think BT spent 2 hours “running down our club”.
I’ll carry on watching City on BT. Because I couldn’t give 2,fucks what they think.
If you think BT are shite, don’t watch it.
simples!
Good for you.

I'll keep watching it as well as I pay for the BT broadband which is the best for my area, and then if I feel like it, I will open up a thread on here and complain about it if I want to do so.

If you don't like threads like this, don't open them.

Simples!

I watched the US version of the match on mute, so I missed a lot of the commentary but I have since watched several channels post analysis on YouTube as well as radio podcasts and the whole non-city media has gone nuts. For the life of me the whole thing is out of proportion, the decisions were at worst marginal but on the whole correct. I had to switch off TalkSPORT because it became unbearable and 606 was unbelievable, the first 30 minutes was totally Arsenal fans ringing up complaining and much of the rest of it as well.

The whole thing has made me rethink their fans, they are exactly like the rags and the dippers, years of lack of success (we have beaten them in 10 of the last 10 PL games) and they still have a sense of entitlement, but the worst thing about it is the way the media side with them and run with it. However long this period of success lasts I will also look back of how we socked it to the rags and the dippers, I am thinking now I will include Arsenal in that bracket.
The Tarquins are and always have been as self-entitled and arrogant as the Rags and Dippers.
All 3 have benefitted hugely from outside investment in their history and every rule change around the distribution of revenue has been to their gain.
All 3 entitled red shirts are crying like babies because someone else has muscled in on the success that they think is rightfully theirs.

All the broadcast companies that show football are still stuck in the mid 90s when it comes to showcasing football. They all have the same style that's so out of date , all the commentators follow the same clichéd script, it's the same studio guests spouting the same shite week in week out regardless of what channel there on. Amazon come along fantastic! Then employ the same dross with the same style not fantastic ! Neville , Carragher , Souness Hoddle should all be pensioned off get some younger guys in who don't have to be ex footballers, just change the bloody format !

A decent football pundit has the ability to reign in their bias , couldnt give a shiny shite if Dixon loves Arsenal its a pundits responsibility to be impartial , and hardly any of the 'istree clubs ex-players can even dream of being impartial , because of the jealousy and envy of our club achievements and it gets right under their skin.
I never said he was a decent pundit!

Yes he probably was Cheeky. Remember the block tackle Rodri made on Martinelli where the 2 ex pros are saying it's a crunching tackle and Fletcher is repeatedly saying it's a foul
But the whole coverage was unbelievably biased. Remember, this was their opportunity to bring the pack closer to us what with us tired, Arsenal rested, at home and in good form - my God they were more desparate than a bunch of sex starved men in a brothel. Yes, Arsenal played well but the whole match was seen though Arsenal eyes. But the analysis of the refs decisions was nonsensical. Even fucking Walton basically got it right before he started tying himself in knots but the looks on the panel's faces as he showed one was a clear and obvious error and one wasn't were priceless.

Shortly before they screamed that Laporte has just swung an elbow & should be off only for the replay to show nothing.

Remember when Neville complained about Mane 2 footing Ederson, proof the ears overrule what the eyes can see, 2 years we heard how the Dippers were wronged.

Deserves it's own thread.

I thought the commentators were disgraceful today. The worst we've ever had.

Not once did they talk about the game from the City perspective. Didn't talk about how we'd battled from 1-0 at half time to win 2-1 away to a Top 4 side.

Refused to say it was an obvious error not giving the penalty on Bernardo.

Main commentator trying to say that Rodri's slip was a foul and potential red!?

Keown saying Laporte swung at Martinelli before the replay shows nothing of the sort.

There were many other examples in the game that aren't coming to me right now.

Hope they're crying their fucking eyes out right now.
Cmon. mate. we have every advantage other clubs do not and we play the victim card

Were not Liverpool fans.

Just relax

We’ve seen this bias before from BT sport - remember Jermaine Jenas during the City v Spuds UCL semi. Got my blood boiling though no much different to Keown today.

Also McPointy’s overheard comments about Wolves.

Back in 2016 they had complaints from City fans and BT claimed they listened to our complaints and said their head of live sport was a City fan. He’s probably been sacked since then.

Well done all on Motd. Agreed with all decisions. Refreshing
Quite unbelievable!….Ian Wright very humble about all the decisions, and correct, I think he’s just proud they’re competitive again, compare that to the BT lot who got over-emotionally involved & embarrassed themselves
