Ferran Torres signs for Barcelona

Still owe us €1.5m from Denis Suarez...who they signed 8 years ago!

He's played for 5 different clubs since playing for us!

Shows what a shambles they are and how badly they're run.

The reason they owe us money for Suarez is because they had to pay us €750,000 every time he played 10 appearances for Barcelona.

His last appearances were in 2019 so the money was probably due at the end of the 19/20 season.

Not uncommon for clubs to not resolve things that quickly. We got money off Otamendi in 2015 because Valencia owed us a lot of money for Negredo who they bought a year earlier.

Not sure that's a favour? We get a lot of money for a tepid footballer and they're the ones with the problem of trying to register him.
They got a while though don't pay first instalment till July (wages only till then)

Just reading that the bent twats can't even afford to register him.

Why on earth are one club seemingly immune from criticism and sanctions for financial mismanagement and blatant consistent fraud?

Yet it's City and PSG ruining football.

Am beginning to put Barcelona on the same line as the rags, Liverpool and Bayern on my shit list..

As for Ferran, he can jog on. Same with Garcia...fuck off, see ya later. Good luck my arse.
Absolutely, we were a stepping stone so he says. Fuck off Ferran, you'll not be missed. Always thought he looked a moody kid, never thought he wanted to be here

It's the norm for transfers to be paid in instalments over many years.
Yes generally over the course of the contract but not so common for the first installment not to be paid straight away, more common to use the loan system with a purchase obligation when no funds payable on signing.

If you are 1-0 down for the majority of champions league final and you are an on form striker who stays on the bench you probably think of moving on.
To move to a club where you will never have the opportunity to sit the bench or play in a ucl final the rest of your career????

if I was an everton, Spurs or top 6 side, I'd be looking at Real Madrid, Barca squads and eyeing up their players. lots of players there like Isco etc who might do a great job in the Premier league for next to nothing. Lots of top European clubs under financial pressure.

If they’ve got anything about them, Newcastle’s board will be doing just that.

They need their Robinho moment.

Having that that I hope the self entitled beer bellied wankers get relegated.

Fabrizio Romano just stated on stream that City have first refusal for Ferran Torres.

I suspect it's the usual January transfer bullcrap. based on what Ferran has said past 48 hours, don't expect him to return.
