We're on the clock for Haaland.

He wants to know by a set time line if Pep will sign a new deal if he agrees to come.

The good thing is, his people are asking how he will be utilised in the current set-up.

Which is fair enough, as we haven't played with a striker for two seasons.

I'd rather he came for the club than the manager but I guess that's old-fashioned thinking.

Presumably, if Pep did sign a two year extension Haaland would threaten to leave at the end of that if we didn't appoint someone he approves of. Sounds suspiciously like Pogba territory to me.

Anyway, I trust our management team implicitly and that includes if we walk away.

Pep has to extend right if we get Haaland, I don't think Pep would want to miss the opportunity to coach the next big star in football

Wood isn't doing too great a job banging them in for Burnley up away from the relegation zone is he ?

25m ! Burnley will be the biggest ones sneering believe me

He's not prolific by all means, no, but at least 10 goals in every season since 2017/18. Might not seem like a lot to us but to Newcastle that will be massive. Ask Burnley.

£25m is a lot, of course it is, but we've had our pants pull down worse in the past to be judging and Newcastle have got money coming our their arses.

Only about 300m spent on transfers before the takeover in the past 5 years. What planet are they living on. Probably the same one that Everton fans exist on as they cry about transfers having blown about 400m on complete dross.
With respect, what the fuck are you on about?

In the five full seasons before the takeover Newcastle spent about 250m and 190m of that was from player sales. 60m of investment in five years. They were well within their rights to complain.

LordBlue said "they are just so happy to even be involved in the transfer window after what they've been through."

My point was they have blown millions on complete shite, 40m on Joelinton just two years ago. Newcastle fans are acting like they are some plucky club like Norwich who dont spend a penny. Everton fans are the same, blown hundreds of millions on shite but think Moshiri should spend more and get them into the top 4.

He's just been sent a hell of a play book with Xs O's Arrows and shit from Peps mind.. with just 'YOU' at the top in the middle.

Pep is obviously happiest here than he ever was at Barca or Bayern - his longevity here shows that. Why would he want to change scenery now?!

Especially if we get Haaland.

Christ, what a time to be a City fan.
Totally agree,he gets everything he wants and more,i dont think theres a better club suited too him
