Is VVD beginning to show his age?

I think so. Just beginning to lose some of his physical prowess. Still no. 1 defender in the Premier League imo but his game is beginning to fray. Note I am not saying his game has gone but that he's past his peak.

age 30 and he had a bad injury , doesn't quite seem elite as before

I honestly thought they were terrible

They've been pretty poor for the majority of the season. Defensively they might be picking up clean sheets but they're getting away with it because of poor play from the opposition more than anything else. Inter had so many chances to play a simple ball in behind last night and catch them out. That high line is fine if the press in midfield means that the opposition don't have time to pick a pass, but Inter had lots of opportunities but the ball was shite or they would pass it backwards.

Not sure how it ended up 2-0 to be honest.

They'll get found out by better teams.

Had the game on last night whilst playing a jigsaw puzzle on my iPad and was interrupted on numerous occasions in the first half by the commentator raising his voice only to look up and an inter player takes the ball off a dipper. 2nd half was all inter but you wouldn’t have thought it with the twat speaking. Anyway turned it off and watched a discovery channel when dippers scored. Finished the jigsaw by the way.

Not sure it's been mentioned and it sounds daft because I don't think they're quite as good as they were 2 years ago, but these fuckers could end up doing the quadruple. Hopefully the fixture pile-up does for them and they end up with fuck-all!

The only quadruple will be the heart by pass that ClubshopKlopp will need at Easter when they are consolidating a top four spot.
