I'm sure the cheeky chappie scousers will extend their famous sense of humour to Chelsea fans and social media will show various videos of their friendly nature toward them both pre and post kick off.

Totally missed the game yesterday after getting stuck with all the BA hassles at Heathrow.
Got into the car when I finally landed and heard all about what had gone on. Have to say it didnt really bother me, it just being one of those things that happens these days.
What I did find funny about it though was listening to "Gabby" going on about "big team bias". How the "big" teams get all the decisions and it is getting worse. Nice that "little old City" are being lumped in with your horrible neighbours in the NW.
It did make me think though about that perception that those at the top of the table get all the decisions. The only way I could rationalise it was the old Gary Player quote aboute "the more I practise the luckier I get". The idea that those at the top tend to be the most attacking teams and therefore find themselves in those attackking/dangerous positions more often. In which case they will get more in favour but also have many more missed.

As for doing something to show support for Ukraine I hope the teams today do something similar. Although I think the City/Everton thing meant more and was more personal with the involvement of Zinchenko/Mykolenko. Really, clubs/like fans, alone cannot do anything and it means little unless there is that personal connection. The likes of the Polish/Czech & Swedish federations are doing the right thing and saying they are simply unwilling to play them. The FA & then UEFA & FIFA should simply remove Russia and its clubs from all professional competitions.

We had decisions like yesterday go against us a lot of the time when we was shite and battling to stay up 20 odd years ago.
Now we've become an established team we get them going for us.

I hope you don't mind me saying I hope you get battered today, would cap a fine weekend off.

See they are at Wembley today but really should not be there 3-1 Down at home to Leicester in the first half when their player Morton avoided a blatant red card with the ref bottling it and gave a yellow.
Doubt they would have recovered 2nd half if down to 10
Same with FA Cup, their mate Darren England on Var,who seems to be involved in a Dippets game most weeks these days ( on Var again today) somehow failed to tell the ref that Cardiff should have had a penalty and soon after the Keeper should have had a red not yellow.
Add to that the blatant cheating/diving they do game after game, the bad tackles going unpunished, soft free kicks, diving for penalties, latest dive just a few weeks back by Jota for a laughable penalty, the non2nd yellow for Milner v us, how Kloop gets away without bookings for his antics as far back as the worst corruption you’ll ever see in our CL games v them, and they have the cheek to shout corruption over a rare decision in our favour

Not at all I would expect nothing less...and I of course will be hoping that it is the other way around and that its all done at half time and players can be rested. Alas, I suspect it will be a tough one. At the end I just hope we win and no injuries as the squad cannot stand it. Not as bad as it was, but the quality drops once the starters are out.

Bit harsh that mate. BM doesn’t condone violence, even to dippers.
