A Manchester board didn't have trebles either, it was all black whereas the Yorkshire board was coloured like a normal one.
AND wasn't a m/cr board made out of a solid piece of a tree not your poncy paper stuff ?
All I know is that the beds were ultra small. Most players made their score randomly.

As yet unconfirmed story that the Glazers are planning to sell OT to a developer, who they'll ask to finance the building of a new stadium, which united will then lease back from the developer. That'll probably mean a naming rights deal for the new stadium to cover the leasing cost.

Odd isn't it ? Plays ok for England and shite for the rags. Is the difference the opponents or the colleagues he is surrounded by at the swamp?
I actually think Stones and Maguire are a strong partnership. They complement each other very well. I was staggered at how bad Maguire was against City though. His confidence looks shattered. I also think Maguire was a good player at Leicester so something has gone badly wrong with him.

Developers? To do wha knock it down and build houses? If so how much is that worth to a developer? Surely not half of what a new stadium is worth?

To knock it down and build a new stadium. But then they own the land so can do what they want, subject to the terms of the contract.
Do they actually own it?
It was donated wasn't it?.......genuine question.
I'm sure some "Davies" geezer bought the land and then donated the money for a stadium build.

Selling community assets? What would an independent regulator say about that? Or Gary fucking Neville for that matter :)

More comedy from the BBC gossip section....
As if Spurs are even entertaining the idea.

France forward Anthony Martial, 26, could be used by Manchester United as a makeweight in a deal to sign England captain Harry Kane, 28, from Tottenham. (ESPN)
Spelling typo, Paperweight, not makeweight. Can get a bit drafty around the scaffold, so need someone to hold the contract down as Kane signs

Ah.

They've won the bid to buy Chelsea and will officially fuck off down London.

You can build a lot of apartment blocks on that site and I can imagine the advertising marketing slogan being " you can now come home.and sleep in the theatre of dreams...."

Fuck.... how can I get that copyrighted?

A lot of people already sleep in the theatre of dreams only 90 minute power naps before their journey back to London

That area feels like a ticking financial time bomb. As the flats continue to fan out from Castlefield and connect to and through Salford Quays towards the Trafford Centre, they will benefit from the land they own (just another version of what we are doing). I don't think there is much being actually manufactured in 'Trafford Park' anymore so it's return to being a part residential area, isn't far off.
