The media and others have criticised Blues for booing yesterday. Fair enough. But all the booing that Sterling gets every time we play Liverpool and some other clubs continues after 7 years and commentators never mention it or just don't hear it.

The Athletic is selling subscriptions for a quid a month and comments seem full of trolls. It's a shame because there used to be some genuinely good stuff but it's now just a fanzine for the red tops.
 
I might be wrong but from what I heard from the TV was the booing came from the Liverpool fans at city fans singing when the minutes silence started. I was unaware of any minutes silence happening so the same could be said for numerous fans.
So has this been blown out of proportion and as I've said some city fans unaware and just singing for the team rather than bring disrespectful

I get what you're saying and, mostly, I agree.
They was a small a tribute paid in the last round v Forest and again in the semi final yesterday. Nobody would be surprised if there's a third event planned also buuut... it's worth adding no matter what anyone's opinion on the over-playing and the manipulation/commecialisation of certain football tragedies, those are arguments for another day.
Quite simply, there is absolutely nothing to be gained by disrupting a minute's silence.

We are usurpers! We have usurped one of the places reserved by the nation's broadcaster for MANUre or the Dippers. They want both at the top table and if we are beaten by one of their 'annointed' then they go into overdrive and there isn't another sporting event on the planet that can be crowbarred into a square centimetre of webspace - all taken over by the red shite, either end of the East Lancs.

Attack the bus carrying the City team and also other clubs.
Throw a noxious substance at the rags squad entering their ground.
Attack an ambulance carrying a rag player with a broken leg to hospital.

They have no right to start pontificating about anyone's behaviour.

I remember the game at Anfield back in 2013/14, we were impeccable in our minutes silence for Hillsborough, the reward after the game was City coaches and mini-buses with windows smashed in. They really have no right to hold a moral high ground.

Correct, and I'm sure people can relate to a number of other indiscretions, including Heysel and booing the minutes silence for George Best in our own ground. I've total sympathy for those affected by Hillsborough but why do they need to hold silences before two different games during the same week.

Failed miserably and was taken over by the New York Times (ironic given its founders’ stated aim of putting the newspapers out of business) and is hawking round its subscriptions at knockdown rates.
