Not yet, it'll be probably tomorrow afternoon when we find out, but it did not look good. Possible ligament?
It wasn't your typical ankle roll either and I wonder whether he felt anything tweak in his knee as a result.

I thought it was his knee too. If you watch the standing foot, it bent slightly awkwardly as he kicked.

He did walk towards the fracas and looked like he was up for throwing some hands if things got outta hand :)

Definitely. He got his studs caught in the turf and his whole body weight went through the ankle twist (rather than a roll), which made me fear for his knee. That said, I couldn't see the physios doing the usual flex tests associated with possible cruciate damage, which is a good sign......although the camera wasn't on him the whole time

Pictured with a medical boot on today. that's no indication of the severity of the injury that's just standard practice now, It does however squash the weird rumours of it being his knee. No idea what you people saw.

Looked like he had his shin wrapped. I thought it was either a calf muscle or a impact to the shin.
I'm going for shin.
He definitely turned his ankle, but I doubt its ligament damage because the physios wouldn't have let him stay on the pitch. Saying that ide be surprised to see him play any part today.

The physios can't establish ligament damage on the pitch. Mendy tried to play on when he did his ACL.

Missing Walker isn't just missing a player, it's missing our primary means of defending counter-attacks. Locking down his flank and also having the pace to cover across when needed is a huge part of how we defend.

Sure, he makes mistakes, but no one else in our team can physically do what he does. If Walker's out for any serious amount of time then I'm guessing Aké will play as a very conservative left-back and drop almost into a back three like Abidal did for Pep, with Cancelo playing the Dani Alves role and staying more advanced
