Finishing is shocking once again BUT his all round game was actually very good. Still saying that, has been one of worst players for a couple of years imo, considering the amount of opportunities he gets. Has also been getting away with scrutiny because of his friends in the media (pundits, fan channels etc) and England performances (where he is World class tbf) I remember a time where he was genuinely as impactful as Sadio Mane and Mo Salah. Real Madrid next, ironically the last time he had a top performance against a big team was against them in 2020

Despite that, I thought he played really well first half, lots of good movement, looked lively and hungry rather than the disintersted ponderous sterling we've been seeing too much of lately. Second half theres not much to say for anybody, it was a warm down exercise the minute jesus got his hattrick. Can be pleased with his performance today.

I thought he was superb today-running the channels, turning and driving, working hard off the ball. Another positive was how well the front 3 linked up. Augurs well for the run in.
