The show us your cat thread.

Merlin spends very little time on the floor
View attachment 41334
Cats are either tree dwelling or Bush dwelling, obviously your Merlin is the former ours was a Bush dweller and spent no time at all climbing trees whereas our first maine coon was up every tree and roof available and spent his entire time outside chasing birds the little bugger

We have decided that the 2 we have now will be our last, the young one is only 3 and the older one is about 14, we have agreed that it would cause too much stress if we coughed it whilst our wards are still with us.

Morbid but practical.

All my kids have flown the nest and I love them dearly but even they joke about us loving the Cats more ;O
See how you feel when your eldest one dies.

Why not look at adopting older cats and give them the send off they deserve? Just a thought.

This is Penny who passed after a single bite from a neighbour's dog 4 years ago
I miss her immensely

Our two idiots. The ginger one is Janet, she's amazing, probably the best pet i've ever had. A stray we took in and love her to bits. The white fluffy one is a bit off her tits. From a rescue centre and you can tell she used to get kicked a lot (she's still very wary of feet). They just about tolerate each other. Just about.

He is 15 years old but that photo was taken about 4 years ago, He's a Maine Coon.
We lost ours last week, he would have been 15 in August, I know yours is a maine coon as he looks very similar to our Samson if you can see the photos I put up. He went downhill after his last vaccine, the photo of him in the sink he was 14 and a half and still looked like a youngster

Sorry to hear that Nellies. We lost our two elderly ladies, 18 and 20, a couple of years ago. They were my now wife's cats when we first met and they were class. It's brutal when they die. Gutted for you.

Thank you mate, he definitely made our lives better and gave us years of pleasure which you have to remember instead of the sadness now as you well know after losing your girls
