Watched a clip on YouTube last night with Schmeichel and the female presenters dad who was a rag.
Both said it was an amazing night and better than utd's.
Carragher tried to be a smart arse and called him a turncoat.
Fair play to the man who said you will know about that being an Everton supporter.
Good to see supporters of other teams loving a game with no agenda.

Everyone is welcome at the Etihad and nights last like night make blues for life. But this is a genuine question: who are these people? Genuinely? Are they on holiday in the UK? Are they students at the university? I saw a group of about 15 being escorted up Joe Mercer Way all wearing sweatshirts and flags from, I think Guatamala or somewhere, with half and half scarves. Would is be some kind of sports club trip or something?View attachment 41560

Everyone’s known pretty much as soon as we moved to the etihad that splitting our most vociferous fans up is an atmosphere killer, why can’t anyone at the club put their heads together and just logistically come up with a plan to sort this out. There are people who are paid good money to improve the ‘fan experience’ but they don’t seem to grasp that top of most fans list is a good atmosphere.
I used to be of the opinion that surrounding the away fans either side was quite unique and created a hostility and to an extent it does have that effect especially if it’s a loud set of fans/ rivals but we shouldn’t be basing our atmosphere by feeding off away fans. It’s just so disjointed and we need to get all the singers together, it’s common sense…
And then when you move the away fans for cup games like this and plonk a load of tourists in there it just looks so so so odd.

I'm not snobby about it but how do they get tickets and where do these foreign people come from to turn up in so many thousands for a game where tickets never went on Open Sale?

They surely need people with history of going games getting tickets for last night. Embarrassing how many out of towners got so many tickets.
Bang on, add to that the middle tier in the south stand. I assume a huge section is given over to corporate as it was empty just after half time v Watford. That also splits any singing.View attachment 41560

its the club putting large amounts of tickets on ticketing websites / sponsorship packages. You can’t buy 15 tickets together yet low and behold there was plenty of that last night. They do it regularly in block 107.
lots of city fans unable to get tickets for last nights game - you can see why. The club are stopping city fans attending in favour of tourists and people who don’t support us.
simply not fair and we need this sorting out with the club. No problem with tourists attending, but last night it was clear lots of seats were being bought in bulk for people with no history of attending at all

If you were a season ticket holder not on the the cup scheme you could get a ticket. My wife got one. Maybe they should give it a day or so for citizens. The issue we have the ground is not big enough for these matches but it is for league and earlier cup rounds. Also the timings for the selling criteria was short.

I know that. What I’m saying is that lots of these tickets/ people attending are not buying tickets from the city website. They are getting them from ticketing sites/ not through the website. Groups of 10 or 15 people sat next to each other/ who’d never been to a game before…. You can’t do that as an ordinary season ticket holder or you have to atleast be a member
so on the city website those same tickets are unavailable. How is that fair?
