Extended as part of a deal with the owners to leave - they let him go without a fuss and get a big compensation payment from his new club.

"Klopp is now the next manager likely to build a dynasty at a club in the manner of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United and Arsene Wenger at Arsenal".

Says the BBC and that Liverpool born cult **** McNulty.

Have they never heard of Pep, who's won 6 trophies in 6 years? Wenger - 10 trophies in 22 years, Klipperty - 3 trophies in 7 years. YCNMIU.
Just seen that but can I add
* as good a guarantee of success as it’s gets”
“ World best defender in Vigil Van Dyke”

I think it’s 50/50 now, they have a huge amount of belief and momentum on their side.
There is only us that can stop them. Let’s hope, we’ve played them twice in the league and outplayed them on both occasions. The cup semi we gave them that. Let’s hope we can beat them next time out.

6 trophies?

Sounds like everything is going well for Liverpool. In a world governed by the law of averages they are due a setback or two. I am hoping there are a few setbacks before the end of the season that means they have only 1 trophy to parade to their fans in Toxteth.

And therein lies the problem with statistics.

It would be interesting to see how many of those Liverpool penalties came at game changing moments and how many of those City penalties were awarded when the game had already been put to bed.

So many times over the last few seasons Liverpool have struggled to make inroads against teams until they were 'awarded' a controversial free kick/penalty.
I did say if you went looking in statistics you can find out what you want to find out.

A lot of talk about how many penalties Mo Salah gets/wins/whatever 15 or 20 a season probably. I also see a lot of facts quoted on here. Yes Liverpool have had more penalties than any other Premier League side, one more than Man Utd I believe. But I did not think Salah had been awarded that many so I tried to find out but only came up with those he had taken. And then I thought 2 things have happened, Klopp arrives and then VAR, which according to this site would basically relegate Liverpool as we seemed to score about 20 blatantly offside goals a season. So I looked at the pen stats since 2017/18 and it seems if you look in the right place (myfootballfacts.com) stats will tell you what you/I want to believe.
City 57, Utd 51, Chelsea 41, Liverpool 39, Arsenal 34, Spurs 33.
dress it up all you like, without cheating you cunts would be nowhere . no league cup no FA cup and below top 4 in the league .

I personally don’t have a problem with Klopp observing the opposition players whilst they are warming up. Can understand why he does it. Agree it might look a bit noncey, but irrespective of the effect (or otherwise) it has on those individual players it must (subjectively) give Klopp some idea about their game readiness and any potential lines of weakness. It clearly works for Klopp and his track record must surely vindicate his approach to games, as much as Pep’s vindicates his.
A bit noncey, yes. The rest I'm not so sure about.

Nah, we will win the League and Champions League, we are the better team.

They also got lucky in the first game, Milner should've been off before they scored..
Also Lukaku had a goal ruled out for "offside" in the League Cup Final and even in the FA Cup, Jota was offside when he scored against Forest.
Their luck this season is incredible.
I don't think it's luck. When they have all the technology to make decisions but these decisions almost always favour LiVARpool, it's something other than luck. They get more than their fair share of that too. City had two winning goals ruled out in the last league game. They should have an accumulation of red cards and suspensions just from City and Everton, that would have stopped the " momentum " Everton were yet another team refused a penalty against LiVARpool.

Thank you Bill. It's beyond me why more people can't see that. Yet whenever it's pointed out LiVARpool supporters respond with the Rodri handball incident. Supporters of the same team that scored with a goal set up from the half way line with a handball against Wolves a couple of seasons ago. As well as two handball offenses in the box against City, one of which set up a goal but apparently VAR was turned off in the same season. They got away with a shove in the back in the box on a City player too. Three offenses in one game, all ignored. Similar again this season in both league games against City. Player's that should have been sent off, penalties ignored, offside goals given for them, onside goals ruled out for the opposition. Even against lower league sides in the cups. Without all these decisions, most games, their season would have been over before it started.

I dont get all this anti Klopp stuff...he is without doubt so far, the only manager to successfully lock horns with Pep in English football, a truly passionately brilliant manager, as is Pep, shirley it has to be good for the game, club supporters and especially the neutrals. I'm convinced some posters on here would hate Dyche or Lampard, for example, with equal passion if he was in the Klopps shoes.....The main thing is as long an untied don't get a sniff of anything for the next decade so much the better.
I'd like Klopp if he wasn't managing THEM. Also I misread your comment and thought you were talking about Pepsi and Shirley (the Wham dancers).

Seriously strange club from top to bottom and klopp slips right in. Obviously a great man manager and as he manages them the media buys into his every word. They think being hated by everyone is jealousy, delusion at its finest. We’ve lost a CL final to Chelsea, fa cup semi to them. Not won leagues in our successful period because they’ve won a few. I don’t hate them so hating Liverpool has nothing to do with their success (1 title, cl and league cup in what about 6 years so I use success loosely) it would be a thing of beauty if they ended up with just the league cup. I’m sure the media will spin it as some form of success and moral victory

They keep on banging on about financial doping and oil money and doing it the right way, comments on social media alongside pictures of LiVARpool shirts with Standard Chartered emblazoned across the front. They conveniently forget that they got investment decades ago that brought them success and a worldwide following. That audience is the reason they get all the decisions to this day, to keep the audience happy because it's good for the "brand."

....whilst also casting themselves as the plucky underdog (victims).
