Real are on the verge of signing Rudiger. Handed big wages to Alaba last summer also who wants to be a left CB these days. Can’t see them going for Laporte.

Pau Torres is the obvious replacement as one of 4 CB in a back four.. if Ake wants to go. The hardest part will convince Pau to be in a such a tough competitive position. How much playing time will he get.. and how much does he back himself, with just 5 months left until the WC as well.
Wouldn't like him in a back 3 though. And he cant emergency cover as a LB as well.

Will start worrying about that if Ake goes though.. if there is just 5-10m between them, its a no brainer.

I always thought he was the perfect replacement for Laporte if he really went and really wanted to go and made noises etc, has many of the same attributes as well, and would be higher up the pecking order then as well.

Im a regular La Liga watcher. Watch most VR games.

He’s shit. Most overrated CB in La liga. He’s good playing out from the back but defensively he’s light weight out muscled easily and has a mistake or two. He’s not worth his release clause.
