Also odd that the Villa scouse game Tuesday means the jammy twats have an extra days rest before the final given that Chavs play Wednesday.

All the pressure on the Dippers now , last chance saloon at Villa on Tuesday ,they mess that up and we win the league in a canter , our defence is suffering , three of our mainstays injured but Ake has been excellent this seasonand he will not let us down

I don’t get the suggestion that Gerrard will roll over. He was an elite sportsman and they tend to be highly driven and competitive. He will do what he can to try and get a result, as will his team (and again when they play us).

If we can get 70 minutes out of him on Wednesday it could be enough to win the game ,but not sure what the injury is ,someone mentioned a back injury which hopefully can be managed for the next three games.I think Ake is out for the next game....
