It’s not an opinion. Bild has a history, we have German members on the forum that could explain to you. The “report” has an author, it’s nothing to do with who “tweeted”. Expecting a reporter to cover the club to deflect or confirm every rumor is unrealistic. Maybe one day the aggregators will understand they need to filter the bullshit (but the engagement and the amount of content will suffer).

And here in we find the problem of trusting Twitter sources, a few on here could report ‘sources close to the club’ for followers but don’t. Also translation plays a big part in how a lot of stories are playing out on social media, and into the mainstream press these days.

Why would they contemplate one at all? Our policy couldnt be clearer, players can leave when they wish to leave, release clause or not. If they can find a buying club with the right offer for us.

I don't believe for one second there is a release clause. Not because of what Gus, Tolmie or anyone else says, not because of what I think of Bild, but because purely based everything that I know to have happened to date, at least as publicly available.

Exactly, if he eff’s off after a few seasons that probably means he/we have done very well, we get a big chunk of change & we’d of had a generational talent for free. We’ve done ok without him this last 10 years

Sure. And I can't. We might never know either way, or we might hear enough at some point to conclude one way or the other. The club will have clearly thought it was the right deal regardless, so I'm happy either way.

Sure. And I can't. We might never know either way, or we might hear enough at some point to conclude one way or the other. The club will have clearly thought it was the right deal regardless, so I'm happy either way.

All a release clause does is allow the player to talk to a club that would trigger it. If he’s happy here, he could well turn any club down anyway.
