Fucking Dippers...always living in the past. There still stuck in this 1980's mindset and feel as if the whole of the UK owes them

I had an apprentice when I used to teach at Bentley.. a lad called Jamie, a Scouser (he still works at Bentley so not truly stereotypical).. At the first session the trainees had to stand up and introduce themselves.. He said “My name’s Jamie from Liverpool, My Mum and Dad are in the Iron & Steel Industry… My Mum Irons and my Dad Steals”

I’ll never forget it… one of the nicest lads I taught.. He’s certainly a very rare individual as he was a dipper

To be fair that isn't a myth made up be the city of liverpool, Thatcher dill wilfully try and destroy the city.

During that time manchester and other northern citys gave them 100% backing and stood in solidarity with liverpool, as did the mancunian populace ( days when it wasn't as petty as football rivalries).

Liverpool as a club are cynts and using the 80s decimation of the north( not just liverpool) by the tory cunts is opotunist, but it is still true


I have no gripe with them hating the tories or establishment, as I do

I have an issue that they make ot out like it is/was onlt them.

I’m genuinely asking a question.

The thatcher and subsequent Tory governments were shite (imho). I’m just asking whether that equates to booing the national anthem being ok.

Around 1615-19 a popilar ale house chant was "God save the king the most noble and glorious"

Over the years beyond 1619 this pub chant evolved as England fought several wars with scotland adn europe, as people added verses, eventually put to a tune in a pub in Londom one man belted out our anthem as a patriotic barb towards some scots in attendance, it caught on and spread.

It has never actually been recognised as a national anthem but is used as we have none
 
To our lurking dips. Southampton next week could be a Crystal Palace. I seem to recall you were 3 nil up. I remember suarez crying at the end and slippy g pushing the cameras away. The thing is, I can't remember the score at the end.
