According to the Liverpool Echo, it’s because it’s not their fault once again.

I had an apprentice when I used to teach at Bentley.. a lad called Jamie, a Scouser (he still works at Bentley so not truly stereotypical).. At the first session the trainees had to stand up and introduce themselves.. He said “My name’s Jamie from Liverpool, My Mum and Dad are in the Iron & Steel Industry… My Mum Irons and my Dad Steals”How can you take the day off from the dole ?
Or do you mean robbin' an' drug dealin'.
Must be an Everton fan then.I had an apprentice when I used to teach at Bentley.. a lad called Jamie, a Scouser (he still works at Bentley so not truly stereotypical).. I’ll never forget it… one of the nicest lads I taught.. He’s certainly a very rare individual as he was a dipper
100% dipper mate.. I’m still in touch with him on FBMust be an Everton fan then.
Fully agree - had me in tears in 2011 (granted I was pretty well greased by that point)...........Whenever I went to Cup Finals – and I went to several at the old twin towers Wembley – Abide With Me was a really important moment. I'm not a Christian, or religious, so it had nothing to do with any of that, but it was a song that emphasised the gravitas of 100.000 people all being gathered together in a high state of expectation.
They bang on about history, but there is no set of supporters that is more utterly blind to what history actually means outside of their own sterile little bubble.
So you never went to the 2 Merseyside Cup Finals. ?As someone said above re peer pressure - if you support liverpool you would go along with the scouse not english bile as to not do so would alienate you. I think like united their fanbase has changed over the years and most on a matchday at Anfield have no affiliation with the city.
Everton would have to get to a final to even hear the national anthem but I can't recollect us booing the anthem.
Tasteless...Tbf there was a mob of blues who stole an entire Krispy Kreme machine on the way to Wembley, saw video of them dragging it through the car park at the services
Presume the press will be all over this :-)According to the Liverpool Echo, it’s because it’s not their fault once again.

Did the tories write the national anthem?!?To be fair that isn't a myth made up be the city of liverpool, Thatcher dill wilfully try and destroy the city.
During that time manchester and other northern citys gave them 100% backing and stood in solidarity with liverpool, as did the mancunian populace ( days when it wasn't as petty as football rivalries).
Liverpool as a club are cynts and using the 80s decimation of the north( not just liverpool) by the tory cunts is opotunist, but it is still true
I have no gripe with them hating the tories or establishment, as I do
I have an issue that they make ot out like it is/was onlt them.
Socialist city, fuck off, Manchester is and always gas been more left wing than them cunts
As my reply was to a different pount, not sure what your point is.Did the tories write the national anthem?!?
I’m genuinely asking a question.
The thatcher and subsequent Tory governments were shite (imho). I’m just asking whether that equates to booing the national anthem being ok.
