Nearly 10k pages on RAWK confirming how irrelevant we are , nothing more stupid than a Dipper.
I don’t think any club these days can demand silly money for players going into the final year of their contract. You either have to offer them a new deal (largely on their terms), accept a discounted offer, or let them run down their deal and leave on a free. It was insane when Madrid paid so much for Hazard with one year remaining, but doubt they’d make the same mistake again. The market has changed post-Covid.
Think Liverpool will probably extend one of Mane or Salah’s contracts, and let the other one leave. Think they’ll be reluctant to extend both.
