Statement from Liverpool.

"Fans with fake tickets held up fans with genuine tickets. The French police decided to absolutely fucking pummel the scrotes with snide tickets. This caused confusion as the Liverpool fans are all cunts.
Meanwhile a parisien family of four walked past, minding their own, little kids in French shirts, got pepper sprayed by French police for causing a riot.
Sky sports news, Btsport and BBC SPORT immediately got wind of the problem and decided to go with the theory that the family of four was in fact an inter city firm from Paris who wanted to cause a riot with the Liverpool twats.
Liverpool fans blameless. Innocent victims caught up.

No way are the French going to take the blame for this, they will fight back with every statement.

The dozens of reports on numerous news outlets about fake tickets over the last few days will make it very difficult to argue that wasn’t the main cause of the problems and will make it easy for the French and UEFA to back up their assertion. The French police probably should have realised that dealing with dippers is more problematic than nearly every club and maybe should have had better contingency plans but it seems likely that the root cause was some dippers with dodgy tickets and others trying to jib in with no tickets at all.
