I’d give Zinchenko a go as DM and I think he’d be much better in that role than Phillips.

I thought this a few seasons ago.
However, he does not read the game like a Rodri or Fernandhino.
I was hoping he would improve on that but he hasn’t.

None, came from SPORT in spain after they dropped out of the 'bid' for Gavi.

Like everyone in here I have views on players, on how we play, how players perform, who we should buy and who we should let go.

But I am a fan, I am not an expert (the club hires experts in all aspects of football, Pep, the data guys, the scouts, the coaches) - these experts have made our club the best in the world as such I trust them. Its not cultish devotion they make mistakes (look at Mendy) but based on what they have done so far how can you not trust them. If the club want this lad fine, sign him up that's good enough for me.

The fact that he’s never been tried there in all his years at the club, suggest none of the coaches that work with him every day think he’s a fit for DM. For me he’s too small.
I actually think Ake would be a better fit than Zinchenko, but not better than Phillips, but again those working with the player every day would know better than me.

Agree with this, probably the best DMs I can think of seeing are De Jong, Makelele and Kante, none of whom being particularly tall.
