Very generous offer for a player looking out. Snap their hands off Liverpool.

This transfer smacks of the time united got Sanchez to trump little city. Huge sums involved. It will be interesting to hear Klopp spin this to keep in-line with the penniless underdog title he boastfully enjoys.

I hope the media ask Liverpool how this move is funded. Pep had to defend the transfer of Jack from the jackals. I expect the same or maybe the cowards in the media will turn the other way fearful they might smell the foul stench of hypocrisy emanating from anfield and continue to report lies about this feral club.
The money won't be mentioned. They will however, allow him to tell us how Nunez is the best player in the world (to go with all of their other bestests)

Not so funny when bayern unsettle your players, is it Jurgen? Mane is off. Up to them whether they keep an unhappy player around for a year or take a reduced fee now, but as we well know Bayern are more than happy to set a time bomb ticking, and they're on of the few clubs in the world with the pull to be able to do it to almost any other team.

This is where its gonna get amusing. They harp on about their net spend but if you want to replace an aging squad and still compete its gonna cost them a fortune. Salah and Mane were absolute bargains but that value really doesnt exist in the market now particularly with forwards.
Thats why hopefully Alvarez is such a coup for us but a risk none the less.

What I'm disputing is the connection between these two things. Hillsborough was not a consequence of overcrowding. The Leppings Lane end as a whole was not overcrowded - the number of people in the stand at 3pm did not exceed the number of tickets sold. The problem was that because of the failure of the police to manage the crowd properly on the day, fans were directed overwhelmingly into the two central pens while the side pens were significantly under capacity.

I'd also add that UEFA and the French government have changed their story so many times already; I don't know why you'd trust them. First there was '30,000-40,000 fake tickets.' Now it's about 2,000. You really think that 2,000 fake tickets caused those scenes?
I think it is about overcrowding.
Overcrowding outside leading to the gates being opened
Overcrowding as they funnelled through that tunnel into that single pen.

I don't think fans would act any different. They would head for the nearest entrance. Overcrowding and causing the same problem when pitch side.

You can get on the pitch and move to the side?

No you can't. The seats will become the death trap. Personally I think the injuries would be worse. The deaths? You can speculate all you like on that one

I've been in crushes at City. Doesn't take much. Doesn't take many.
