Firstly, he would be far better than the rest of Chelsea’s forwards. They lack pace up front and quality, Sterling would give them that. Plus they also have the psychological plus of taking a player off of a rival.Really struggling with the logic behind this move if it happens. Tuchel has struggled to get anything out of the wingers there - so what’s the attraction to Sterling?
Plus.. Sterling’s better playing off a focal point striker and Chelsea are trying their best to shop out the only one they have. Whereas we’ve just bought arguably the best out there? Weird.
Yeah bit of a strange one. Jesus leaving, Mahrez 1 year left on contract, Foden will play more in midfield if Bernardo leaves. All the opportunity for Raheem to lock down that RW position.Really struggling with the logic behind this move if it happens. Werner is the fastest forward in the PL and Pulisic isn’t slow.Firstly, he would be far better than the rest of Chelsea’s forwards. They lack pace up front and quality, Sterling would give them that. Plus they also have the psychological plus of taking a player off of a rival.
According to nico schira, they offered £35m. That doesn't mean we will accept that. Arsenal also offered £30M. This is how london clubs are.No chance it’s 35m, particularly to a rival.

I’d be surprised if Alvarez started more than a dozen games next season. I also can’t see us selling both Jesus and Sterling. With Haaland coming in i understand why we would need to move Jesus. But we need Grealish and others to really up their contribution if we let Sterling go as well. We can't rely on Julian Alvarez to replace Sterling's contribution. He is a complete unknown in terms of how good he is/how well he will settle.
Sterling blows hot and cold but there is no denying his overall numbers.
Think if he strikes up a meaningful partnership with Haaland he could well sign a new contract, all if’s, buts and maybes at the minute.I'd rather keep him and risk losing him on a free next summer than accepting a low offer now, especially with Jesus almost certainly leaving. Still not given up hope completely that he could yet sign a new deal at City, although it's looking increasingly unlikely.
