I am a critic Of Raheem, but no way do I want him to fail miserably. His form lately suggests to me his time has run it’s course. I would gladly thank him for all he has given the club and to wish him the best in the future. That’s it, but it seems to be blasphemy to some.

It's because Raheem was never afforded the same amount of time (by some fans) that other players who had achieved as much would. And some would even single him out every week despite just being average in a poor/average team performance.

That is an incredible deal. Effectively paying 37m (40 if he's a success) plus a youth player who is talented, but unlikely to make it here.

42 rising to 45 would have been a reasonable fee on it's own merits, but getting 5m for a teenager who would probably have left for peanuts in a couple of years anyway is very impressive from Txiki and co.

Phillips must have really pushed for this too.

Deffinetly, fernandinho played 33 games for us last season so that needs replacing. Along with gundos last year give him a bit of time to get used to peps systems
