Spurs did them a favour? I disagree. There are no favours in business, especially in the football business and knowing Levy, you would be better off asking Rumpelstiltskin for a favour. Maybe it's the Arteta connection or something else but getting 45m for a proven PL attacker and winner just seems like a very good deal for them and a crappy one for us.
 
It feels like I've reluctantly had to allow my son to be adopted by a neighbour. I'm dreading bumping into him at the shops at least twice a year where he could beat me to the 6pm marked down items we used to enjoy together.

I get why Arsenal represented the best move for Gabby, but FFS, couldn't we have sold him abroad? \0/

Perhaps then it wouldn't feel so weird seeing our Gabby in that cheap looking Harpurhey Market Arsenal kit.

Think Arsenal have got an absolute bargain for £45 million.
Strikers are always sold at a premium price. How on earth was Jesus sold for less than what allegedly Richarlison and the Leeds forward will cost e.g. at least £50 million ?
Should have got at least £55 million for a hard-working, proven goalscorer and Brazilian international who knows how the Premier League works...

Contract length. Jesus is hardworking and we will miss certain aspects of his game. The player has been hit and miss for 2 seasons and no more damming verdict needed that pep chose to play without a cf for 2 seasons.

He did start to pick up towards the end of the season. Now if you are being cynical you could argue why has he not performed to this level consistently. Is it down to his move away? Either way I am just glad we are recouping a decent fee. He will be missed but not as much as peak sterling. Unfortunately both wanted to leave and their overall performances have been poor. Moments of magic without the consistency.

Who knows what type of player Arsenal are getting. Probably will hit the ground running but will it last?
 
On Gabriel Jesus, no announce expected by #Arsenal today. Everything is agreed and in place, but formal announcement from the club won't be until later this week as of this morning. #AFC
