Ìf Gabby goes then It will be with sadness. A tremendous player and works for the team. He is a major part of our history.
I worry about Raz if he decides to go to Real, look at Bale and the abuse he has received after so many big performances.
If he does go though I think I’d rather see palmer and Mactee promoted to the first team instead of spending on someone like Felix. I think Foden, Grealish, Haaland, Alvarez, Mahrez & plamer is enough for the front 3 positions, gundo, Mactee, Bernardo & Kev as the 8’s.
And many thanks from me for everythingÌf Gabby goes then It will be with sadness. A tremendous player and works for the team. He is a major part of our history.
I doubt theres any sudden panicking with city, they know the score with sterlings contract situation and it looks unlikely that he re-signs. Do you cash in or lose him on a free along with mahrez next year?Sterling won't get sold and even if he were to be, there would be almost no chance that City then suddenly panic and go and buy an attacker. Anyone who thinks that has paid almost no attention to the way Pep works IMO.

Erling will pick up the slack of those 51 goals, the full lot of them.I really hope Sterling signs an extension and stays but if he leaves then the club will have to be smart. If we lose Sterling and Jesus in the same summer, yes we have Mahrez, Palmer and Alvarez, but that’s 2 serious goal threats gone. Mahrez will be here another season at least and Palmer has huge potential and hopefully Alvarez settles quickly. But there’s an awful lot of direct threat gone with those 2. Very often, Sterling’s pace or Jesus’ dribbling created an opening especially against deep defences and considering the amount of parked buses we face that’s huge.
Personally I think we have to look at a replacement if both Sterling and Jesus leave. I know that isn’t the way we normally do thing, if they both leave we may stick for a season unless a certain player is available. I think that might be a mistake, it cost us iin 2019/20 when an injury to Laporte derailed our season.
This last season one of our issues during the run in was the amount of matches that took their toil with injuries. We need to factor that in next season and the fact that we could be asking a very talented kid with just over 300 first team minutes last season and an exciting but unproven Argentinian import to replace 30 goals and 21 assists is a bit risky.
Hopefully that’s all moot and Sterling stays but I’d imagine we’ll know one way of another pretty soon.
I said upside... didn't say anything about past performance. Reading cognition really isn't a priority for some. Incredible. You really believe Jesus has given us more than Raz over the years??? Incredible. Raz has been pound for pound a fantastic signing and has been very much instrumental in our success.
