Yup, they (BT) took it from Sky … and now someone else has come along … good for us though, BT Sport’s coverage of us has been even worse than Sky while Amazon Prime and us have a special relationship (started with that first of All or Nothing documentary) plus Ally McCoist on it and even Gabby Logan has been very complimentary towards us and have always given credit where credit is due and without bringing Liverpool or United in the conversations all the time.

West Ham (A) - Sky Sports - Sunday 4:30pm
Bournemouth (H)
Newcastle (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Nottingham Forest (H)

September
Aston Villa (A)
Tottenham Hotspur (H)
Wolves (A)

One's already been picked - seven others to be decided this week (Tuesday 5th July - if PL sticks to their own published dates). Normally would see a fair few staying at Sat 3pm and not be picked for TV. Forest game is mid-week night game. Spurs is the only one surety that'll move for TV.

Generally TV companies have left us alone early on in the season except when against a top six team (to make sure they have enough of ours left towards the back end of the season when we're likely to be involved in title race - there's a no. they need to show all teams per season so they use that early on to showcase games between smaller sides then later focus on bigger teams).

BUT having said all that, the signing of Haaland, a true global star already, is bound to change that this season. I expect BT Sport to be picking one of ours early on as ITV would have showcased him in Community Shield and Sky has our first PL game so they'd want in on some Haaland action as well ... won't be surprised if Sky want another one of ours (and on Monday Night Football) so they can discuss him v Nunez at Liverpool in that or something ... anyway, we'll find out in a couple of days now.

I'm hoping that one of the home games in August stays on the saturday.

It's purely selfish on my part. If one of them does stay on the saturday, I'll try to get over for it. Sunday is more difficult, and weeknights are impossible, as it involves taking a couple of days off work. Coupled with flights and accommodation, it would be just too costly.

I am sure one of the so called big teams has to be a 3 O clock Saturday fixture for the overseas contract.

Football is only run for those who subscribe to watching on TV, not particularly for those who are paying £60+ to actually go to games. If TV coverage wasn't there VAR wouldn't be anywhere near the game. We sit in the stands for a couple of minutes or more wondering what's going on whilst the sit at home "fans" get all the information on the screen. Offsides used to be just one coloured shirt in front of another. Now it's a toenail or an armpit. The games gone mad.
 
Hoping it is today that they get announced but I won't be banking on it. The sooner we all know, the sooner we can all make the necessary arrangements. I also want to take in a day at the Old Trafford test against SA on the August bank holiday weekend and we have Palace at home that same weekend so could do with knowing if that game remains on the Saturday or if it moves to the Sunday
 
Gong by last season, most of the announcements were around 4pm or so ... I have them in my calendar for last year as most of them announced at 4pm, one was at 3pm, one at 3:30pm, another at 5pm and one at even 6pm.

So if anything, it'll be late afternoon/evening ...
 
Does anyone know when individual match tickets go on sale?

Looking at buying for a few games to travel down to.
 
Thanks again for the fixture list. Inthe diary on the phone, now also in the hard copy diary. I reckon the Jan 2nd Chelsea game could be 3rd, 4th or 5th!
