Heard the delay is to do with royalties, something about the tune they will take the field to. Plus the decision which one to use.


 
I think there are varying degrees of ragginess: pricks like ratboy, the ginger pig and the family man (despite his early years!) are rags through and through. And will always be so. But many players become rags for a short while and then get out before it's too late. These latter day rags are slightly tainted, like shop-soiled goods, but they can still be accepted back within mainstream society - albeit somewhat begrudgingly, and of course if they have professional carers to look after them.
But there is absolutely no hope for long-term rags. They can never be a part of the human race again, they have brought shame upon their family name, they have dishonoured their parents and siblings, and caused widespread embarrassment to those who knew them before the ragginess had time to settle into their systems.

You see some now, former long-term rags trying to distance themselves from their pasts, shuffling aimlessly along the road, heads bowed in misery and guilt for what they have done to the family honour. They avoid eye contact with anyone who is not a lifelong Sky Sports subscriber lest their past doings become exposed to the world.

An unfortunate turn of phase given his past medical history:-)
 
I think Ericson has gone to the wrong team, the rags will play him every game, full 90 minutes. Not good for a man with his history. At Brentford he wasn't under any pressure and he was used somewhat sparingly: I believe because they (Brentford) were finding their feet in the Prem and just ensuring they were still here next season. Mid-table was a tremendous effort for such a small club with such limited resources.
The rags will want him to get them CL football for next season, or failing that, a trophy - any trophy will do. So the rags will want him up and running from day one, Brentford would have said 'Whenever you think you're up for it."

It is patently obvious that he doesn't want to go to the vermin, so look elsewhere, you arrogant çunts. You seem to think every player in the world will stop what they are doing, down tools and take the next bus to ragland the moment you snap your fingers. Wherever they are in the world, any decent player will uproot his family and jump to attention for you? That's what you all seriously believe? You can no longer dictate terms to anyone, you do not get to cherry-pick the best players home and abroad, and you can no longer decide which referee you want to oversee your games.
Remember all those little 'minnows' clubs your lot used to sneer and ridicule? They've grown up now, they are adults in the big wide world. They are not the scrawny, pale-faced little bag of bones trying to avoid you and your bullying mates in the playground. They are now great big fuckers who are more than capable of standing up for themselves. They are battle-scarred, seasoned warriors who could grind your insignificant into club into dust.

It's now a level playing field...and you can't hack it.
