It is becoming really irritating.You would think in this day and age you can choose your commentary….quite simple to do from a technology perspective. But like you, I only tune in at KO and have to mute the commentary.
I wouldn't mind if they were decent commentators at least trying to look professional and impartial.

This is going to be the real problem, everyone is expecting him to score every time he touches the ball and get 100 goals a season.

Why didnt ITV show the replay of the Matip handball ? It was clear he headed in onto his hand/arm but absoutely nothing from the commentators , officials or VAR , but its what we come to expect agains the Dippers , if they scrape a couple of draws against us in the league it should secure second place again for Clubshop he can wear it like a fist pumping badge of honour

You must have watched a different match to the rest of us.I thought we were the better team. Nothing to worry about.
Watching that and thinking that either both handballs are pens or none. Nunez header was going out, whereas that Matip handball stoped the ball going to Haaland...
The only reason it wasn’t a penalty is because we scored 30 seconds later, before the ball went out of play and VAR could flag it with the referee. It’s really not something to complain about.

Something like, Liverpool win again in what is fast becoming a trophy laden season. Not even kicked a competitive ball yet FFS.
It’s a novelty for them to actually win something this year by scoring from other than by penalties.
Exactly this. They were desperate for the win, we recognised that it's not that important a match, just a matter of getting some game time. Result is irrelevant.They started well and look good but I doubt their squad is strong enough to last the season.
I could quibble but I think that's reasonable. Having seen Alvarez and Haaland I'm even more excited about the upcoming season than before.Apart from that ok?

The frustrating part with Grealish is we know what he can do but like today taking easy options constantly that has to be cut out of his game. He needs to start taking risks and when the shackles are off we've a seriously good player on our hands.Grealish and Mahrez are going to have to go up several levels to get ahead of Foden and Alvarez as the wing options. They’ve got pace, work rate and ambition.
Grealish might do it, second season syndrome etc and I think he showed some glimpses in the other 2 preseason games.
I fully agree himself and Mahrez need to raise the game to get ahead of Alvarez and Foden.
