Box to box? When has he ever shown the engine or the stamina or the defensive noise to play in such a role?Maybe a box to box role? Right now he just isn't doing it on the wings or as an attacking midfielder. Where the fuck would he fit in? I really don't envy Pep on this one.
Please tell me you aren't actually advocating the KDB of all players to move out of the way to accommodate grealishAgree he has to play central, our style just doesn’t suit him in that role - I’d play De Bruyne wide right for his crossing ability to maximise Haaland’s strengths. Foden has to start on the left by default, as he’s potentially got 15 goals and 15 assists in him.

I agree with him to an extent. I’m not saying that Grealish should get a free pass but the Grealish/Mahrez wide pairing is absolutely abysmal. It’s like playing two additional full-backs as wide forwards.Has grealish ever been at fault for anything?
Plenty have a hard-on on here for Mahrez. Personally, I think he is a luxury player that this team can do without. Grealish may very well end up the same, in fact I’m fucking positive he will if Mahrez is on the other side.

He wasn't bad today but he was predictable..Everytime he got the ball he cut inside to play it safe rather than getting at Trent and forcing things to happen like say Salah does. He's still playing scared... or he's simply not capable

yep today was a tactical fail from pep. we always play well against top teams when we had foden and jesus as normal wingers. puting inverted wingers like mahrez and grealish pep should get blame for them being ineffective.I agree with him to an extent. Grealish and Mahrez are too safe. It’s like they are on a pass completion bonus. There is a real lack of dynamism in the wide positions when they play together. I don't know mate, at this point I would try him at left back or maybe as second choice to Eddy, I just don’t know where he would fit in.Box to box? When has he ever shown the engine or the stamina or the defensive noise to play in such a role?

I don't think he's at the level of our other attacking players to put it simply.

I think the simple reason is they do not have the acceleration of sterling to play in the wrong side and then get behind the defender. it is as simple as thatGrealish and Mahrez are too safe. Do t think Peps instructions are different for him and other wise forwards. There are no instructions against attacking your defender in the final 3rd. I'm certain of it.It could be down to Pep's instructions. Grealish will be a valuable team member
