My pennies worth on this issue. IF Barca really wanted Bernardo he should of been priority signing for them. So if not the first 1 in the door then the second 1. What i dont get is with Barca how there isnt a transfer ban on them from signing new players. It doesnt make sense to me. Yet the la liga president gives out shit in the past over us signing players , PSG and even Chelsea in the past. Maybe if the premier league president came out and question why Barca are aloud to do this might be a chance they wont be able to unsettle so many players. I get it players will always want to play with a Barca or a Real Madrid but if they cant afford to sign them then we should tell them to fuck off.

City seem to like to give away our players to Barca for ok fees on Barcas terms rather than on City terms we should be milking them for money like they would do to us if we went to them for a Pedri or Ansu Fati we be getting crazy quotes for those players. The same rules should apply.

I’d like to watch this if you haven’t just to get an insight from someone who has played the game and is a blue. I find it quite objective. If you’ve seen it, ignore.

 
Any player who doesn't want to be here can fuck off and I mean any player. I'm not interested in their reasons, I'm a Blue all I care about is City. They're well paid, everything is done for them and they can afford to live in the best areas, eat the best food and socialise in the best establishments. Stop whining and fuck off.

Oh and I'll add they can afford their fuel bills too.

We aren't going to give Bernie away regardless of whether if he is unsettled or not. I doubt Barcelona can raise the £80m which rules out him leaving this season. PSG could but they have signed a couple of cheaper options instead.

He’s asked to leave in 2020, 2021 and now in 2022.

Even though a deal was never concluded he’s played like a Trojan for us, never sulked, never moaned, never disrespected the club or us supporters, always grafted.

The man’s a diamond and, while I’d love him to stay, if he gets his move then I’ll wish him the very best and hope he does well.

Someone may disagree but IMO anyone disrespecting that player, who has given his all for us and been instrumental in much of our success, should pull their bottom lip in and learn to let go without getting childish.

We probably lose a bit of his valuation but one more season and he can leave (hopefully with a Champions League Medal)

He's had periods where he's been utterly shite too. I'd expect 100% it's his job and he's well paid to do it. My rant wasn't aimed specifically at him although yes it's in his thread. No player is above the club for me, sell anyone who's wants to go. If he wants out so much, as a multi millionaire make up the difference and get it back from the buying club later. The only one with a bottom lip is the player wanting out.

Ok, Sterling was in his last year so can kind of understand that, but Silva has 3 yrs to go He is worth at least $80M and to sell him for anything less than that is scandalous. If Brighton can get $50 and $60M for white and cucurella how on earth are we selling one of the best, most successful midfielders in the world in the prime of his career on the cheap??

Having said that the MEN Sports page has already deteriorated since Stuart Brennan left, as thats where the Beeb got their info from.
