Well deserved for Gundogan, proper professional. All the noise at the end of last season sounded like he was ready to go back to Germany and I'd come to terms with that. Glad to see it wasn't the case.
I know Kev has been moved up to Vice-Captain but I don't think he needs to be captain. We all know he's a leader, he sets an example by being the best player on the pitch. Wouldn't want anything to take away from that.

He's obviously going to go into management when he retires from playing because he reads the game so we'll.
He is also much respected by the rest of the squad to be given this role.

Great choice, either him or Kev. Always thought the captain should be in the middle of the pitch. Others time will come but he is arguably the most senior member of the squad. Think he's absolutely brilliant personally on and off the pitch
Not a surprise that gundo and de bruyne are top 2 as they tend to go with longevity in the squad.

Is it that surprising that Dias, who’s only been here 2 years, is viewed as being less senior than 3 players who have been at the club for 6,7 & 8 seasons?
I know people like a warrior CB but the three above him are experienced veterans who’ve delivered time and time again for the club, no one should be surprised to see them where they are in that list.
