I did see Bernardo during the game AND I saw him after the game - both of which, but especially the latter, were a great acknowledgement of the reception he got from the fans. I haven't read anything into him applauding the fans at the end other than it was a great reciprocation of the affection he was shown.

I didn't want to lose Sterling, Jesus, Zinchenko nor Silva, but there's a refreshing sense of certainty that the first three have gone & rumours of them being unhappy & wanting to leave have ceased.

Some are so desperate for shiny new toys that they would weaken the squad for it.

I get that he may want to go BUT the squad strength needs to be priority and with a couple of weeks left of the transfer window it would be criminal to let him go (regardless of our stance on letting players go when they want) so close with a vastly reduced chance of getting any replacement and clubs knowing we would be desperate for a replacement.

If Barca and Bernardo wanted this transfer they should have done it a month ago...not wait for the last few weeks of the transfer window and that should now be the message.
