Seriously? Do me a favor and make that 150 mil, please. Last time I checked, we are a highly ambitious professional football club (operating in a highly competitive market), not a charity organization...

Remind me again how much Liverpool got for Coutinho a couple of years ago (or what Mr Bloom, for example, got for Cucurella a couple of weeks ago). Should I go on? We are all aware of how tough the market has developed. We are all aware of how hard clubs operate in negotiations protecting their interests. And we are all aware of the money Barcelona themselves have been throwing around for years...

And even with that money mentioned above I would hardly be satisfied, given the timing of the move. Losing a world class player, a key player for the manager's plans, when we are looking ahead of match day 3 into the season?

This forum should be really careful regarding the framework of this discussion. Otherwise we should admit (some of us at least) that our perception of City is totally wrong...

Interesting - what are you basing the low fee and lack of replacement on?

For reference, I’m going off the clear briefing City gave to its favoured journalists last week that specified a figure and replacement needed - and Pep’s comments on Friday saying we’ll go back into the market if anyone leaves (which I would argue was very obviously referring to Bernardo)

I’d be very interested if you’ve got any info to contradict these unambiguous and clear statements from our manager and our media mouthpieces, as that would definitely suggest you’re right.

Get paid off Barca, they have only paid us one installment of Torres's fee. I wouldn't entertain any deal with them sly fuckers.

The club should have set a deadline of the start of the season for any outgoings. Anything after that it’s simple - you’re on a contract what no one forced you to sign. Get on with the job in hand and wait until next summer.
 
We should never be discussing sale of one of our best players in 3rd week of August especially to scum of a club. I hope we so get closer to €100m.Real Madrid paid €90m for Tchoumani. Anything less than 3 digit sum is bad and wrong and being soft

I really hope you are right mate but when it comes to Barca we have this clouded judgement and we are that concerned with keeping our players and ex players happy that we will lo ball. As for reinforcements coming in we never replace a big player in the same window as it takes time to look for the right player. For the record I would have told silva he isn’t going anywhere this sumner .

Think the club will be think this squad less Silva will get us to the World Cup break then we buy after working on a deal for a few months!
 
What is Bernie doing? Seriously. He is trying to join a club which might liquidate in few years, City is right now frankly one of the top 3 club in the world. This is such a stupid decision on his part and his agent is a **** too.
