If he lasts out this transfer window we owe it to the lad to make him our Gundo replacementde Jong is still at Barcelona digging his heels there. Chelsea could bid for him but they too have a limit in what they could spend during this transfer window.
We'll have to stick to our guns on this and do what Tony Bloom did with Cucurella it's not hard is itHopefully it's €100m if we are planning on sell him which is not ideal. Some figure that were floated around were around €75m which is Cucurella money. Hopefully we don't bend and accept low figure. He is Bernardo silva and not Ferran Torres or Eric Garcia
If he reduces his salary then why not.If he lasts out this transfer window we owe it to the lad to make him our Gundo replacement
Hard when the guy making decisions is a Barcelona fan and his best friend is calling with the offer. Dunno how people can trust Txiki after the whole super league and 'legacy fans' debacle. We'll have to stick to our guns on this and do what Tony Bloom did with Cucurella it's not hard is it
You know were a soft touch when it comes to BarcaThere are a lot of factors at play here. But it has to be well over £100m.
Barca coming in so late is one of them, I presume that they are trying to offload F D Jong and maybe others and if they can they will try and do this deal. But we dont want to be doing deals late in the window so the Fee has to go up to compensate.
But we are also not in the business of pissing off players. That is basically what Pep said he always wants a good outcome for the players. So if Bernado wants the move and Barca come in with a suitable offer the deal will get done.
Can Barca pay up? I would imagine Barca will struggle to get to the number we need. And we will want it mostly up front as they are in a mess. I think this is the biggest driver in this not getting done. Even if they make a number of sales they will still struggle to make it work.
There’s no way that City would let him leave if it’s just about money - De Bruyne, Silva and Aguero have all stayed and signed new contracts and been happy with the money. I don’t think we can criticise the club at all in this regard.£150,000 p/w I know wonder he want to go, when you see what some of the others are on, he should be on at least £100,000 more
Well done for showing up your lack of knowledge on the club.Hard when the guy making decisions is a Barcelona fan and his best friend is calling with the offer. Dunno how people can trust Txiki after the whole super league and 'legacy fans' debacle.
People would rather blow smoke up the guys arse and call him a genius because he paid a release clause for Haaland who's a fucking childhood City fan and was desperate to come anyway.
