Pep has not said anything different to what he has said previously. Xavi has not said anything different either. Bernardo has said nothing at all. Ferran however... that's kind of new.

Pay the money Barca so we can let him go. He’s obviously leaving so the sooner it’s done, the sooner we can move on.
Too late this window, next Summer is when Bernardo will leave.
It is not too late. Peps words yesterday telling this is still possible. Bernardo is a great fella but our team has grown to the point anyone can leave and we still the best on the world.

Pep being Pep and talking up Barca. It was part of a friendly joint interview sitting next to his mate Xavi, after what was essentially a glorified training session to raise some money for an old friend.
Being over there is going home for him. It’s a very friendly atmosphere for Pep whether we like it or not. This is the Club he supports, after all!
But the realty is it doesn’t really matter what Pep says. He tells us time after time he’s got nothing to do with our transfers - that’s on Txiki, Omar, Ferran and the Club.
And Ferran has been very clear Bernardo is staying this season.
It’ll be his last - and that’s probably best for all parties - but given Ferran’s comments I just don’t see him leaving this summer.

not over this yet imo and i genuinely wouldnt be shocked if there was a deal where bernardo goes to barca and de jong comes to us.
I was clarifying for a poster who took it as barcelona the place due to a aggregator leaving off the FC bit...
During the game today with that romero who has been the one pushing bernardo to barca all summer
On Sunday: Bernardo says he`s happy & will fully concentrate on City for the next season.
Yesterday: Soriano says Bernardo is not for sale (anymore) & there is no "Bernardo-case".
With the comments after the game Pep reinvited (again) the Barca circus & made Soriano/Bernardo kinda look foolish.

i wonder if pep is just fed up with all the speculation, chat and knowing that bernardo wants to leave? in a way maybe he just want him to go and bring someone in and move on?

Despite Pep's comments if we were to sell Bernardo there is no guarantee we would get a replacement in this window and our squad is small enough as it is, thus too late.
