Ref blew, we stopped playing, but it was an awful cock up by ref and lino. In all likelihood, no whistle and we stop the shot, but I can understand Villa's disappointment. They 'could' have scored - not 'would' have scored.I get loads of resistance on the VAR thread trying to suggest that officials don’t make decisions because they are corrupt.
The officials got it wrong tonight. It doesn’t mean a goal would have been scored, but it stopped their chance of doing so incorrectly.

Like Pep said, we just wasn’t clinical enough with our passing in general. It happens, it’ll happen again no doubt but the season is long and we are in a great position as it stands. I’ve no doubts we win this league by at least 10 points.

Today, we didn’t concede a goal because the whistle had blown.
Against Palace, we won because we scored more goals than them.

I'm thinking of this game in isolation where 4 minutes were shown and a lot of that was wasted.
Was the appropriate time added on or not, if it was fair enough but if it wasn't then I'm entitled to query why the Dippers had enough time added on the other night to score when everyone else doesn't get the luxury.
I'm far from a flapper these days but was genuinely surprised when full time was called on the radio when it appeared that fuck all happened in 4 minutes stoppage time!
