This is no place for sensible comments and a calming attitude.Fair result. A few average performances from us but good to see Haaland score and get two shots on target that MOTD ignored. Cancelo should have done better with their goal.
Indeed, you utter cockwomble. This is no place for sensible comments and a calming attitude.
Learn the rules before posting shite, the goal palace had disallowed was correctYou do realise that Villa had an onside goal ruled out? Even against Palace, they had their 3rd goal ruled out incorrectly. But no, we are the only ones in the league being bent over by the refs. Hilarious.
Ref blew, we stopped playing, but it was an awful cock up by ref and lino. In all likelihood, no whistle and we stop the shot, but I can understand Villa's disappointment. They 'could' have scored - not 'would' have scored.I get loads of resistance on the VAR thread trying to suggest that officials don’t make decisions because they are corrupt.
The officials got it wrong tonight. It doesn’t mean a goal would have been scored, but it stopped their chance of doing so incorrectly.
Does Rodri need a rest, or some back up?foden poor.
Walker really poor.
Odd subs.
Frustrating.
Rodri wasn’t the problem todayDoes Rodri need a rest, or some back up?
And Walker, Cancelo and Foden.Rodri wasn’t the problem today
The problem was KDB and Gundos passing ability was missing

I know he created the goal but I lost count of the number of times his passes were overhit or were intercepted. Nowhere near his usual incredibly high standardsKDB?
Yes I agree but those two make us tick and it just wasn’t there today. Thought Gundogan was especially poor. Should have been subbedAnd Walker, Cancelo and Foden.
Don’t think he needs a rest 6 games in.Does Rodri need a rest, or some back up?
We’re all great at being hindsight Peps.Yes I agree but those two make us tick and it just wasn’t there today. Thought Gundogan was especially poor. Should have been subbed
They didn’t have a goal disallowed.
The ref blew before he shot.
Neither were bullets dodged.I think the point he is trying to make is we dodged a bullet. Which we did, also against Palace. Finally we are starting to get protected like the other fellow “big teams” do! :-/
Don’t think we dodged a bullet today. We were comfortably the better team and did what we’ve done so often in the past, made wrong decisions at the wrong times.I think the point he is trying to make is we dodged a bullet. Like Pep said, we just wasn’t clinical enough with our passing in general. It happens, it’ll happen again no doubt but the season is long and we are in a great position as it stands. I’ve no doubts we win this league by at least 10 points.
That is not what I am suggesting for 1 minute and the 2 examples you gave were not goals because the Ref blew the whistle so everyone stopped apart from the Guy with the ball! You do realise that Villa had an onside goal ruled out? Even against Palace, they had their 3rd goal ruled out incorrectly. But no, we are the only ones in the league being bent over by the refs. Hilarious.
Spot on AHT.They didn’t have a goal disallowed.
The ref blew before he shot.
