Queen Elizabeth II

Thankfully Heaven and I don't get on, so it's utterly irrelevant, sadly she is no longer with us, so what she is wearing is rather morbid and as said only on a need to know basis of her immediate family.
I’ll be insisting on my best worm-food clothing or the easiest to burn, depending on what my nearest and dearest decide what happens to my rotting corpse.

I notice Network Rail can now run overnight trains on the network to get people to and from London during the lying in state. It would be nice if they could get the train companies to run them in the daytime too, especially Avanti and TPE.

Amazing what can be done in certain circumstances, makes you realize what mugs we are to accept the utter crap services we now have to take as normal.

not morbid at all, i have washed and prepared many people after death for me to not be affected by these things , i was just musing and you have taken it to be a intrusive question, wrongly

I find it very intrusive and plain weird, but each to their own

My eldest daughter (nurse) did the same with her gran, Kaz. She bathed and put her in a nice dress and put makeup and perfume on my mum shortly after she died. Seeing her gran looking her best made my daughter feel better so i was ok about it.

Most of them are not really traditional. They were invented as part of Victoria’s PR when she needed royal rep washing.
Do it once, it's an innovation. Do it twice, it's a tradition.

Like a minute's silence at 8pm on a Saturday evening.

How long does this huge plane take to warm up C14 it’s off on her way home it was used in AfghanIstanbul last year.
There’s no one clinging to this one still taxing slowly down the run way.

People cheering and whooping a coffin going past is a bit odd to me. We live in a strange world nowadays.

Judging by the number of people en route tonight, London is going to be full on Monday. Can only imagine how many people are going to show up.
