Porridge, the finest sitcom of all time. Far better than Fawlty Towers or anything else you care to name.
Fulton McKay as Mr McKay was exceptional as was Brian Wilde ,the guy who played Mr Barrowclough.
No one will ever convince me their was a funnier sitcom, ever.
Have you watched Still Game? All 60 plus episodes on BBC IPlayer.

Wouldn't disagree porridge is brilliant. From a generation or so further on early doors takes some beating

Any FOCs remember this gem.
An English for foreign students teacher asks her class to visit some places and learn some English words for their homework. Juan visits the airport, the zoo and a nursery. At the next lesson Juan is asked what he has learnt and he says "Take off zebra baby"

Loved Early Doors, the stage version at the Lowry was brilliant.
Me and the missus also saw the stage version at The Lowry and agree. My missus had never seen the programme so didn`t know what to expect ... and she was laughing like fuck. Wonderful programme but a bloody brilliant stage version.
