Well, the FTSE is striking out for the moon! My SE paper loss over the last six months? It'll be a toss up as to what hits first - Erling breaking the PL goal record or my Stock Market ISA recovering!I hope he does a good job for the country and will judge him based on what he actually does (or doesn't do) as PM.
Also worth mentioning:
For a party that is so often described as being run by racist old white men, having 3 female PM’s and an Asian heritage PM before Labour has ever managed a non middle aged white male leader is some going.
Should suit Labour supporters then. He should leave the economy in a better position than the other options and then lose the election to Starmer. Win, win for them.My assessment of Rishy is that he is by far the best option for the tories in terms of facing up to the weekly business in the HoC. He will be tougher for Labour to deal with than any of the other candidates. He wont fck up like BJ did and I assume he will be tougher on the sex pests etc so the scandals will dry up (or just get dealt with in a different manner).
But the Tory members will dislike him as he is not Boris, He back stabbed BJ, he's brown etc etc.
The worst element of the tory party will go back to UKIP, Reform, BNP etc.
So electorally tories are in much bigger trouble than if they had Penny M who is white with big boobs.
I couldn't care less about his wealth. I will give him a chance and see what he actually does as PM before judging him.
I think that is good , there is no need to have mens football a closed shop for the female commentators , they one we had sat was very good while brown was being an absolute prick , they could pick better female pundits though , only a couple are better than the menI completely agree generally speaking.
Former/current players from the women’s game being commentators and pundits on the men’s proves that.
And we all know why!True.
And they wouldn't have chosen Rishi.
I have nothing against women’s football Kaz and certainly don’t believe football is just for men but they’re shoehorning them in when they’ve played at a level that’s below the entire men’s football league, never mind Premier League.I think that is good , there is no need to have mens football a closed shop for the female commentators , they one we had sat was very good while brown was being an absolute prick , they could pick better female pundits though , only a couple are better than the men
Ah, Don, are you in one of the affluent areas then? Or have you still got the Edwardian villa in 'Apper'ay?What, like diverting money away from poorer areas to more affluent ones? Can't wait for more of that.
I am with you on that, my investments had been very poorly now I might just see a recovery.Well, the FTSE is striking out for the moon! My SE paper loss over the last six months? It'll be a toss up as to what hits first - Erling breaking the PL goal record or my Stock Market ISA recovering!

His missus is worth a few bob as well.I couldn't care less about his wealth. I will give him a chance and see what he actually does as PM before judging him.
I agree with you totally. Think Alex Scott is getting overexposed though.I have nothing against women’s football Kaz and certainly don’t believe football is just for men but they’re shoehorning them in when they’ve played at a level that’s below the entire men’s football league, never mind Premier League.
I think there’s plenty of men who’ve been professionals who will have more insight and I think doing it for the sake of diversity is morally wrong.
I like Alex Scott, no issue with women breaking through like her if it’s deserved, as she talks a lot of sense, it just shouldn’t be forced.
Got away with paying taxes as well which always helps. His missus is worth a few bob as well.
I know it’s subjective but I think the billionaire argument is a bit daft when parliament is rife with millionaires. Don’t know how we got here but putting millionaires in with the rest of us is silly. What, a billionaire in charge when food banks are growing in number, inflation at 10% and he is going to cut public spending, the optics are terrible.

Frankly, I can't see what Rishi sees in his billionaire wife! His missus is worth a few bob as well.
What’s the point in here is exactly my point.Good to see you trying to elevate the level of debate then.
