that was pretty impressive from the lad, very young but seems to have all the tools and talent to make a name for himself in pro football

So happy for him , what a buzz ,absolutely made up for someone who can’t vote or even drink , yes Rico upto him you now .

Ps he is tiny so in my tiny little mind he must be more than half decent , hope he makes it at ours ( just to mix up a bit )

God knows we need a fullback. Is he the man? Pep takes it very slowly with youth players, especially considering he's so young. But if there's 1 position in the team currently that is completely there for the taking it's right back..

18 in a few days. He doesn't drink so nothing will change there, despite the efforts of some of his teammates..

Each to there own , just want to him to make it at are club ,nothing better than seeing a young kid making it , with a squad full of superstars , go on Rico lad .

He is a right back, not a midfielder.....and that is where he should be deployed.

The lad has a bright future.

Incredible start to his career in the first team, keeps his head and we have a proper player.

Was over the moon last night when he tucked that goal away. He shows loads of confidence on the pitch and I've been dying to see him start since pre-season.

I've mostly kept quiet about him but I think he might well be the next Foden tier talent. With a bit of luck, he will go on to have a brilliant career with us.

It is very clear that he is a serious talent - Pep simply doesn't pull anyone from captaining the U18s into the first team squad without thinking that. He just needs the dedication, work ethic and patience now to take every, single chance that he gets. Like every City fan, there is nothing like one of your own being on the verge of really making it, and then doing so.

Slotted in comfortably with the team today, despite his age. Took his goal very well, saw the space in the goalmouth and took his chance.

Excited to watch his progress.

Thought he was brilliant in the second half and tidy enough in the first. He isn’t ready yet for inverted fullback but recycled the ball well. When let loose he terrorised them down the flank and was beating his man with embarrassing ease.

We started the game with three academy graduates and gave another one a run later in the game. When you think of some of the youngsters out on loan as well, our future is very, very bright.

Attacking wise, Rico is already better than many PL fullbacks. He suits Pep's system better than most of them. When he improves on his physical attributes, which is bound to happen over the next 2-3 years, he will be ready to start in big games.
