Is he in same situation as Zaha was? The main man and talismanic at a smaller club with less pressure/expectation but struggles to make step up? To my mind his best or most influential games have been West Ham last year and Utd this year. Beyond that he’s never really had a huge impact

Thing is we signed him knowing this. The guy hasn't put more than 10 past in any pro season he's played.

I don’t think anyone was expecting him to turn into a 20 goal a season guy, but nobody could have predicted he would look less threatening in this side than he did at a shite Villa.

Offers no goal threat whatsoever. Almost looks frightened when he gets the chance to shoot and looks desperate to offload the ball in the opposition's box and abdicate the responsibility of trying to score to someone else.

Nasri regularly scored and created chances, sadly Jack isn’t doing that at present

I don’t agree with that. At villa he was always taking risks and taking players on. Pep doesn’t seem to want him to do that.
