Pep has said exactly what Jack needs to hear. I said earlier you could see his frustration on Wednesday and his apologies when things didn't come off. Fuck the media and negativity, just go and play your natural game within the parameters Pep sets lad.

If you have a shot blocked or play a pass move on and try again. Everyone in the team makes errors you just have to keep backing yourself. He is lacking in confidence but Pep's words shouldgive him a real boost.

TBH I don't know why getting a shot blocked is that BAD. It is not like missing open goal or wasting a golden chance. Those were half chances at the start. We have seen our players shooting into Row Z so many times recently. At least getting a shot blocked usually gets you a corner and it is valuable against parked bus.

What I want from Grealish is to do more running into behind. When Mahrez was going to cross, he did not run into the space behind. That is something he can definitely improve.

Doesn't matter what fans think, at the end of the day he only satisfy what managers demand from him in order to keep his place in the team.

The moment he ignored what manager instructed for him is the moment he will be dropped from starting lineup.
 
Time to stop with this notion that he's been playing to instruction. I want him to succeed but he has to step up. When he gets the ball he has to be aggressive and drive at his man.

If you play in the front three at Manchester City you have to provide numbers. I hope he starts today, but he's got to start delivering.
